Happy Daddy Day

Daddy made us all his delicious specialty breakfast first thing this morning.  After eating breakfast together, Daddy opened all his Father's Day gifts.  He loved everything... the tie with our family picture from his awards ceremony, framed pictures of the two of you, and his new hat.  You both had fun helping Daddy open his gifts :)  Daddy played with you both while Mommy went to the store and picked up the items I forgot to get yesterday.  You both had a lot of quality Daddy time today :) and Daddy really enjoyed being with you both.  Sister Kelly came over and brought Daddy his Father's Day gift too.  Daddy had hinted that he wanted a bunny tie like the one we bought the Governor, and Sister Kelly didn't miss a beat!  Your Daddy is such a sucker.  Sean Franky also came over today and big brother Ryan called to wish Daddy a happy Father's Day.  Daddy is sleeping on the couch right now, he was supposed to be writing this blog for Momma tonight, but Mommy is going to let him sleep ;)

Prior to you both going down for your afternoon naps, Grandmoo and Mommy took you over to GiGi's and Gi-Pa Poncho's house.  Since, we missed Gi-Pa's birthday, we decided to take Gi-Pa a Gi-Pa Day/Belated birthday gift.  You both love going over there and played your little hearts out.  Jude, yesterday you stood by yourself for like three minutes, you also stood again today without holding on to anything.  At Gi-Pa's you walked with your walker toy.  It was hilarious, you looked like an old man walking with a walker :)  Bodhi, you threw an absolute fit when it was time to go.  Jude, you always cry when you are first put in your car seat, but you quickly got over it.  I think Gi-Pa enjoyed seeing you both today, and he liked the card and present you both bought him.

Jude, you took an afternoon nap with Mommy today.  Bodhi, you woke up early from your nap, so you and Daddy went shopping at Kohl's while bubby and Mommy slept a while longer.  After we woke up, we all went to Indy to do a little shopping.  Daddy stopped off at a roadside Amish stand and bought cheese, bread, and sausage.  We had a car picnic on our way to Indy.  Both of you, Bodhi and Jude, loved all the goodies we ate.  Jude, you are becoming quite fond of "big people" food.  We had a really good day together, and we are all very exhausted.  Bodhi, you went right to bed, despite Grandmoo being here visiting Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo.  Jude, you nursed all of five minutes before you crashed.   You didn't even slightly stir when Mommy put you in your crib.

Happy Daddy's Day Daddy!

Bodhi, you insisted on wearing these orange glasses all day long (without the lenses) Mommy and Grandmoo got the biggest kick out of you in them :)
