Today was a busy day for all. Mommy is busily attempting to get things organized for a “garage sale” this weekend, while frantically trying to keep up with everything else, including being notified she will be returning to work next week. Mommy is stressed about it all, especially leaving Buddha and Bodhi to return to work, and of course feeling overwhelmed with keeping up with all the many other activities and responsibilities she has. Yikes. Mommy will be working part-time, but she will be the new breadwinner… despite the adjustments you both will have (for only four hours a day mind you) Mommy couldn’t turn down the rewarding work or the money! Aunt Tiana will be watching you two three days a week, as Mommy trusts her with her life!
Grandmoo has had a busy day trying to complete projects at her house, and she and Mommy are preparing for Great Papaw Grills coming to see us next Monday. We’re always excited to see Papaw and we can’t wait to see his expression when he lays eyes on Buddha and Bodhi!
GiGi and Gi-Pa were busy all day looking after you two, Buddha and Bodh, while Mommy was working frantically on preparations for the weekend. They told of a funny story when they witnessed you, Bodhi, going up to Buddha and taking a book away from him (Bodhi sometimes you show signs of bullying your baby brother) and were amazed at Buddha’s reaction in that he immediately pulled himself to a standing position and gave his big sister a “you’d better back off, Sis” defiant glareJ!
Daddy started the day at 7:00 a.m. with a two hour dental “root canal” appointment; Daddy has an incredible dentist, but dental appointments always make him very uneasy (both in anticipation of something “bad” happening and the expense of trying to maintain some form of decent dental health). Daddy hopes you both, Bodhi and Buddha, have Mommy’s good teeth (you both already have her good looks in generalJ) and never experience the dental problems Daddy has suffered all his life. Daddy also did some running to stores for himself and for Mommy, and tried later to get some work done for school.
One thing Bodhi you definitely get from Daddy is a sense of distress over your Mommy selling your stuff! You seem to be a bit of a hoarder (like some suggest Daddy and Sister Kelly are), and it is a hoot watching you frantically trying to recover your “stuff.” You found a headband that barely fits you, and insisted on wearing it all day! It is much funnier watching you, Bodhi, Daddy confesses, than it is when it is your own “stuff” Mommy as appropriated for distributionJ!
Well, we’re all looking forward to getting some rest tonight. And it has been such an incredibly hot day today, that all of us was feeling the extra fatigue that a scorching hot and humid day brings on. Jude (Buddha) you fell asleep, as usual, in Mommy’s arms but seemed to go down much easier tonight, a testament to having had a long, busy day. And Bodhi (Emilia), you also showed signs of being exhausted tonight though you insisted on Daddy rocking you to sleep. Both Mommy and Daddy had that special heaven on earth experience of loving two baby angels to sleep! Get some rest Prince and Princess of Indiana! Tomorrow is a new adventure!
