"Bo Bo," "Bubba," and The Motorcycle Gang

Mommy is going to skip over all the details of your fussiness today, Ms. Bodhi!  Good grief, you have NEVER, EVER, not even when you were real sick a few days ago, been as fussy and difficult as you were today.  Mommy was about to pull her hair out, between you fussing and Daddy trying EVERYTHING to make you happy, my head hurts big time :0  Jude, you were a happy fellow today, like nearly everyday, however, I know you too will probably get the "terrible two" syndrome as well :)-

Two super exciting things occurred today :)  First, Bodhi, you now regularly say "Bubba," and Jude, you said "Bo Bo" for the first time, AND you looked at Bodhi when you said it :) We call Bodhi "Bo Bo" all the time.   It was so sweet!  Jude, Mommy is considering "Bo Bo" your first official word.  I'm not counting the sound "Da da da da," that Daddy believes to be you saying "Daddy," especially since you are a Momma's boy hee/hee, nor am I counting the mimicking of the phrase you sing "Aaaaah wub ouuuu," as if you are saying "I love you."  Mommy says your first true word occurred today, on Bodhi's 22 month birthday, and it was "Bo Bo!"  That's your birthday present to your sister.  Happy 22 months Bodhi butt, you gave us a clear view of what the "terrible two's" are going to be like!

Secondly, today, Aunt Terrie and her motorcycle gang made a trip from Vincennes to Kokomo, as a trial run before their long ride to Virginia and Florida.  Your Aunt Terrie is so cool, she's a true motorcycle babe :)  Like, your super cool Gi-Papaw Grills, Aunt Terrie loves to ride!  We met up with Aunt Terrie, and her gang, at Grindstone Charley's, for an early dinner.  Aunt Terrie bribed our waitress and ended up paying for our meal :( Argggh!  She's our visitor, so we wanted to treat her!  Thank you Aunt Terrie for a lovely dinner :)  The food was great, and the company was even better.  Jude, you acted like big people, sitting there in your highchair smiling, playing, and eating.  You also engaged in some pleasant conversation with your babbles.  Bodhi, hu!  We still love you Bodhi!

After we arrived back home, Mommy played with you two on the porch.  Mommy was going to walk you two in the stroller to Walgreens to pick up some pictures I ordered, but Bodhi, you were wayyyy too fussy and it was extremely hot out.  So Mommy decided, with Daddy's encouragement, to keep you two close to home.  Grandmoo came over and played with you both as well.  Bodhi, you also scooped pooped with Grandmoo, and by scooping poop, you just pointed and avoided stepping in it,  Grandmoo did all the scooping.  When Grandmoo came over, Bodhi, you were a completely different child.  Grandmoo said jokingly, "well she seems like a happy little girl to me," knowing that your moods are intense and change frequently :)  While Bodhi and Grandmoo were scooping poop, Mommy gave you a bath, Jude.  You were so tired, you slipped and went under.   That was the end of the bath.  You were so pissed, there's no other word to describe you after being submerged.  I could hardly get lotion on you or get you dressed you were so mad!  Mommy nursed you to sleep immediately.  Daddy gave you a bath when you were done playing with Grandmoo, Bodhi.  You too, were off to bed immediately following your bath.  It was in your best interest to go to bed a little earlier than usual hee/hee Bodhi, you have speech therapy with Ms. Connie in the morning, 9:15 am.

Bodhi, you put on a good show during picture time... you were not a happy camper as you appear to be in this picture!  Aunt Terrie makes you laugh and smile though :)
