Momma Goes Back To Work and Grandmoo Celebrates a Birthday

This morning was a very difficult adjustment for us all.  Jude, you woke up early, so you didn't lose any sleep.  Bodhi, you however, had to be awakened to be dressed.  Mommy packed you both in the car and met Aunt Tiana to transfer you both to her.  Bodhi, you had the saddest most pitiful look on your face, and you couldn't figure out (or didn't want to figure out) what was going on.  Jude, you also looked around as if you were trying to figure out what the deal was.  Bodhi, Mommy could see that you were about to cry, and I knew if you started crying I couldn't hold back the tears, so Mommy plopped a binky in your mouth and put your car blanket over your lap.  You and Jude just looked at each other as if you were saying, what's going on.  Jude reached out for your hand at one point and Bodhi, you reached back.  Mommy gave you both kisses and reassured you that everything would be okay, and that you two were going to have a fun morning with Aunt Tiana and all the kids.    Bodhi, I've dropped you off at Aunt Carrie Leaks and Daddy use to drop you off at Aunt Jane Horner's house (once a week for a few months while we  were working), but you were little and were you were absolutely fine with it.  Jude, you have never been away from your Momma, besides when you spent a day at GiGi's and Gi-Pa Poncho's, and after being with you both for eight months, it was so hard.  Don't get me wrong, it was definitely a difficult thing, returning to work after I had you, Bodhi, but it was just different this time. 

When Mommy picked you both up from Aunt Ti's house, Aunt Ti said she didn't know if she could do it anymore.  She said it was the saddest thing come 11:00 am when you both started crying hysterically and saying "Mommma."  Aunt Ti said that Jude, you were fine until your sister started crying, once she started crying, you then became hysterical.  :(  However, Aunt Ti and Mommy think that it was just the first day jitters, plus, she has a better feel for your guys' routine.  Aunt Ti said you both are such good babes, awesome babes, and that besides that 11:00 am melt down, you both were perfect angels.  So, Aunt Ti wants to try it for the rest of the week and see how it goes.  Mommy trusts and respects Aunt Ti, so whatever Aunt Ti decides, Mommy knows it will be in your best interest.    She loves you both like her own, so we'll see how the rest of the week goes (Thursday and Friday) and go from there.  Bodhi, once I arrived, you were running around playing with the girls, having a blast.  Mommy has not seen that side of you :)  So, Mommy definitely sees the importance of having you around other little kids.  Mommy also has a new perspective regarding her job after today.  I've seen the pain and agony from parents that have had their children taken away from them, but I now know a little more clearly, the pain that they were dealing with.  I can't imagine having you two taken away from me. I cried the whole way to my appointment after leaving you with Aunt Ti, and  that's knowing that you both were in capable hands and that I would see you both again in four hours, I can't say the same for the parents I work with. 

This evening, we all celebrated Grandmoo's birthday.  Bodhi, you eventually warmed up to Great Papaw Grills, but now he is leaving, which is a major downer :(  We all had a great evening together though, eating cake, watching Grandmoo open our present, running around playing, just being together.  GiGi, Gi-Pa, Great Papaw Grills, Grandmoo, Mommy and eventually Daddy, all shared our cake and ice cream with you both. Well, Jude you aren't allowed to have any cake until your first birthday (just like Bodhi), but you enjoyed the ice cream.  I think Grandmoo enjoyed her birthday, and I know Great Papaw enjoyed seeing and spending time with you both!

It was very obvious today that you two are going to be BFF's and that you two love each other very much!!!

After some shared cake, you warmed right up to Great Papaw.  Mommy even left you with Papaw all by yourself to run across the stree for a few minutes. :)
