A Fussy-Butt Start to the Day

Our day (especially Mommy’s) started early…and fussy. Daddy had to get off early to work, had a “coffee meeting” with a dear friend, Professor Ray Welsh (Daddy lost a lacrosse bet with Ray so I had to cough up for the coffeeJ). When I was attempting to get parting kisses (Bodhi, you refused to give Daddy a goodbye kiss this morningL), you both were being especially fussy with Mommy as she was trying to feed both of you breakfast. I figured she was in for a doozy of a day, but I learned later you three went for a long walk and had fun after all.
Daddy was running late getting home because I had to go to the doctor to attend to some soreness in my arm and back. I got home just in time to pick up the yard and get it mowed and ready for Sister Kelly, Governor, Sean Franky, and Aunt Beth to come over for a cook-out. I’m glad I got the yard mowed and looking nice because as usual Kelly and Aaron did most of the work for the cook-out and Aunt Beth brought over goodies (especially for Emilia BodhiJ). We had a blast, as always, love it when we get together!
Mommy had to go upstairs and try to eat her dinner while nursing you, Jude to sleep. Jude, you seem to be feeling better, and we all hope you are able to rest tonight. Daddy is still fretting over the fact you have to have “tubes in your ears” which goes to the heart of what I recently wrote about…how parents suffer in watching their children suffer. In fact, Ray and I talked about that very thing today; he extended his best wishes to Mister Jude and Ms. Bodhi and his friend Amanda. We are so blessed with good friends, and such an especially loving family.
Daddy got a little work done tonight, trying to complete a repair project in the basement. I’ll have to inspect it tomorrow when I get off work from Family Services Association. And Mommy says Saturday is going to be “Daddy Day” with Jude and Bodhi! And I can’t wait!!!
Daddy gave you, Bodhi, a bath tonight while everyone else was out on the porch talking and having some beverages, and I got you ready for bed and tucked you in with a good-night kiss and hug. Everyone had to also have a good-night hug and kiss as well.  You are an angel! And I checked in on your angel baby brother and he seemed comfortable and sound asleep.
Dream beautiful dreams, you beautiful, special pair of angels!!!!

That's right... Mommy makes you happy!

Jude, this is your modified crawling position when you don't like the texture of what you are crawling on.  You are trying so hard to stand up, it's just a matter of time before you are walking!

Mommy asked you, Bodhi, to sit next to your brother, you decided to sit on his lap instead. Mommy was about had a heart attach until...

...Juders thought it was hilarious, and started banging his hands on your back hee/hee

"But Mommm, grass and sticks are a part of a healthy diet!"

"Say what?"  "Why can't I put my stroller pillow on the tree?"

"Ooooooh ANTS!"

Ornery little thing! ;)

Mean Face :/

"Here Bubby, here's a stick for you too!"

Juders, you LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch your sister!  You adore her :)

"Mmmmmm stick!"

Momma and her Bodhi :)

Bodhi, you were the DD for our cookout!  You were taking Aunt Bethie home :)

Bodhi and her Sister Kelly:) BFF's

Our fire thanks to Daddy :)

Sister Kelly making the Bodhi "Mean Face" and Aunt Bethie chillin' :)

The Governor and Sean Franky enjoying a verage by the fire :)  Governor told many "poop" stories hee/hee

Daddy resting his back... Lookin' like he passed out and his legs are on fire :)-

PS Bodhi, you were extra sweet with your brother today!  You would take him toys, a pacifier, and even a stick when he would get fussy.
