Neighbors, Friends, and Family

Bodhi baby, you were a mess this morning.  You woke up fussing and you cried hysterically when Momma dropped you with Aunt Ti.  Aunt Ti said you didn't stop crying until she got across US 31.  Juders, you didn't seemed as bothered by your sister crying this morning.   You were probably more concerned with the poo in your diaper.  You manged to poo on our way to meet Aunt Ti.   Bodhi, when Mommy picked you up after work, you were playing and having fun.  Juders you smiled at your Momma and reached out your arms for me, but then you wanted to continue playing.  You both fell asleep in the car on our way home.  Thankfully, you both still went down for a nap.  Mommy practiced her speech for the hearing tonight, and then I took a nap myself.

Sister Kelly and Governor came over this evening.  They watched you two while Mommy went to voice her and Daddy's support for our neighbor, Vincent Devost, and ask that he be given a "variance" so that he can continue with the re-construction of his home.  They had to stop building Vincent's home because the builder obtained the wrong building permit, and Vincent was at risk of not receiving a "variance" to continue to building due to the mistake.  Mommy had to miss Zumba :( but the cause was worthy. GiGi and Grandmoo went to the hearing with Mommy as well.  Usually when us three get together for a serious event, we all end up giggling and pee'ing ourselves, no joke.  Grandmoo refused to speak, since she has an extreme fear of public speaking, as does Mommy, but Mommy had to be the one to suck it up and speak out.  I also had to submit additional letters of support from other neighbors that were scared to speak in front of the committee.  The whole event will be televised on our local television station KGOV :0 Mommy is happy to report, Vincent did receive the variance, and now the construction next door will continue :)   Our other neighbors, Pete and Kelly, are not happy that Vincent received the "variance." They didn't want Vincent to re-build on the lot, as Vincent's home is in very close proximity to their home.  So, hopefully over time, peace will be restored on our street.  Mommy will continue to post pictures as Vincent's house progresses.

When Mommy returned home, you both had baths, were fed, and were upstairs playing with Sister Kelly.  GiGi visited with you both for a while and then she had to go home and get ready for bed :)  Grandmoo stuck around and took you, Bodhi, outside.  You love doing chores and walking around outside with Grandmoo.  She kept you out way past your bedtime.  I must say, you, Bodhi had a pretty good day... Aunt Ti and the kids in the morning, Mommy in the afternoon, Sister Kelly and the Governor early this evening, and Grandmoo and Daddy this evening.  Juders, Mommy nursed you and you went right to sleep!  You looked so incredibly sweet all clean and in your jammies.
