A Beautiful Sunday

This morning neither Mommy or Daddy wanted to get up and start our day, but you two insisted.  Mommy got you both situated and played with you while Daddy made breakfast for you two.  Mommy supervised your breakfast, enjoying a cup of coffee, while Daddy ate his breakfast downstairs, while watching the news.

Mommy got dressed in the hopes of us going to Lowes to pick out paint for Daddy's office and for our piano, but Grandpa Kurt arrived to visit, and so we stayed home, playing and visiting instead.  Mommy made lunch but Grandpa decided not to stay and eat lunch with us.  You two sat with Mommy at our dining room table as we do everyday, and Daddy ate his lunch...again by himself in the front room.  Daddy then went to pick up our window air conditioner units at the other house...tomorrow is closing day and so we had to make sure everything was cleared out.  The couple bought Mommy's dining set, so it was left behind.  You two were tiring, so Mommy tucked you in for a nap, and had hopes that you two would only take a short nap, it was such a beautiful day outside, but you both ended up sleeping late.  Mommy spray painted your "big boy bed" in the garage, Jude.  We are planning on taking your crib down since you are sleeping in a toddler bed :)  You've done so well.  You don't get out of bed... Mommy told you you had to yell for Mommy and not leave your bed (for your safety ha/ha), and you do!

When you two finally awakened, Mommy took you both outside and pushed you on your swings, in between spray paint coats.  Aunt Dianna text Mommy that she wanted to meet over at our old house so she could check out Mommy's color scheme.  Mommy had to go inside and wake Daddy  to have him come out and supervise you two while I ran over to our old house...Daddy was grumpy, even after sleeping the day away.

When Mommy arrived back home (with the discovery that I had spray painted stripes in my hair and  all around my neck and nose).  Mommy noticed it when I got in the car, Aunt Dianna confirmed...it appeared as though I had been huffing ha/ha  It was super windy out.  Mommy jumped in the shower, and tried to supervise you, Buddha.  Daddy talked Bodhi into sitting in the living room with him, but you wanted to play :)  We (Momma, Bodhi, and Buddha) ate dinner together, again, while Daddy ate in the living room in front of the tv.  We enjoyed our dinner anyway ha/ha Buddha, you were excited to take a bath... you had tried to get in the shower with Momma, and you ended up busting your lip on the sink when you climbed up the cabinet, so Mommy told you that you could take a bath after dinner.  Immediately following dinner, you, Buddha were upstairs throwing toys in the tub, and butt naked sitting in an empty tub hee/hee  You and your sister played and played and played.  After baths you two continued to play, contently in your room, Bodhi.  Mommy had to post some items on fb to sell, and so you two were left unattended for a while... when Mommy would periodically check in on you, you, Ms. Bodhi, were dressing your little bother up.  Buddha, you LOVE to dress up in your sister's play clothes :)  You are such a boy, but boy do you like toddler girl clothing ha/ha!

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes. Love you to the moon and back :)

Some much needed play time outside :)

Despite showing signs of being a super athlete, you are so awkward on the swing and a BIG chicken... but you are getting better :)

Bodhi has mastered the "Nostril Family" face :0
