Well Good Morning Ms. Snuggle Bug Bo! Bodhi, you opted to climb in bed and cuddle up to Mommy's back this morning :) You usually join Daddy downstairs, but not today, YAY! You were so cute, sighing and saying, "Oh Momma I love you," while rubbing my head ha/ha You are something else! Mommy went and fetched you some apple juice, and you know you were being super sweet if you got Mommy out of bed at 6:00 a.m. after being up late :) Ms. Allie is back on her late night walking schedule, so that pushes everything else Mommy does after you two go to bed, up later. Mommy had made a rum cake last night for Daddy's fundraiser at work, and so I had to package it up real pretty before he left this morning, so it's a good thing you coaxed me up for apple juice Bodhi :) You were just doing your part!
Jude, you joined us in bed around 8am, and then we all got up shortly after. Mommy sold several items (including your high chairs which I'm still grieving) on the FB Kokomo Garage Sale site. Mommy has made a killing selling things we needed to get rid of on the computer. It's so much easier than having a garage sale, people just show up and get their items :) Anyway, we needed to get some items from the store, and yet make it back in time for people to pick up their items, so we rushed around like crazy people. You two were in heaven when Mommy splurged and bought you both a blue and orange bug juice, as well as two dollar store painting books. However, during one of our runs, you Buddha about fell down the steps and Mommy had hold of your wrist to make certain you didn't fall, which ended up being worse than allowing you to fall because Mommy heard your little wrist pop. Yep, just like your sister at this very same age, you injured your little wrist. Oh how it broke Mommy's heart. You held it next to your chest and cried and cried and cried. Mommy was trying to decide if I should take you to the ER, but you settled down and were ready for a nap. Mommy decided not to take you and wait it out. They didn't do anything for Bodhi when her elbow pulled/popped/whatever the term is, and you insist it's your wrist not your elbow, so we'll have to keep watch and see if you heal up or if you need to go to the doctor.
You both slept forever! Mommy had potato soup cooking so when you two finally awakened, you both wanted to eat. You two raved over how good Mommy's soup tasted. Buddha, your wrist was still hurting, so when Daddy arrived home from work he bought you an ace bandage to help support it. You were fine after it was wrapped. It doesn't feel or appear to be broken, and it's not swollen, but it was definitely hurting you :(..... The bandage however is working wonders for keeping you comfortable! After dinner, we all watched a couple of your shows, Bodhi, and then we got busy making ourselves a rum Hello Kitty/Sponge Bob cake. You two wanted to help Mommy make one, and since neither of you helped with the one Mommy made for Daddy's fundraiser, Mommy had promised you all day that we would make one this evening. You two love help Mommy in the kitchen. Jude, you love to do dishes... oh how that makes Mommy's heart flutter ha/ha You had to do so with one arm though, poor guy! While our rum cake was baking, we painted pictures with your guy's new painting pages, which has the paint built in... you just dip your brush in water, activating the paint on the sheets. It's the greatest creation ever! It's by far the best $2 dollars Mommy has spent :) and you two had a blast. After painting and baking, we all enjoyed a piece of yummy rum cake and then the two of you headed to bed. Mommy sure hopes your little wrist heals through the night. I can't stomach you being in pain, Juders, especially pain I'm responsible for :( !
Oh and, yesterday was Mr. Andrew's birthday... you two were sleeping/or almost asleep when Mommy arrived home, so we couldn't send him a "Happy Birthday song" via text... so we did so first thing this morning. Happy belated Birthday precious Mr. Andrew. We love you.
PS Mommy, who doesn't bake or cook, received the highest bid, $55.00 dollars, for my rum cake... this is the second year in a row Mommy received the highest bid :) 2 for 2! Mommy's presentation is always a winner ha/ha Daddy even typed a story to entice people to bid on the cake... "buy the cake/buy the story." Daddy and I are an awesome team!

When Mommy was getting ready this morning, you, Jude disappeared into your room and ran back into the bathroom to show Momma.... |

Little sucker! |

Bodhi, you kept begging Mommy to let you cut your pony's hair ha/ha You just weren't satisfied with the texture and insisted that there were still "rats" in it :) Mommy said, "Oh what the heck, go for it!" |
|
Better your pony than your hair... you already cut your "devil's curls/boings." |
