The Sunday After

Well, we enjoyed an incredible gathering of family and friends and celebration and fellowship last night. Today, we look forward to rejoining with our precious Gypsy Princess and Viking Prince. We learned a couple of times last night that you struggled with your overnight with GiGi and GiPa, Miss Emilia. GiGi was so worried, though she stuck it out with you and eventually you settled inJ. Buddha, Grandma reported you awakened several times throughout the night, but overall managed being away fairly well. We knew it would be hard on both of you, and us!

Daddy tried to do much of the after-celebration clean-up late last night, but Mommy finished up that task this morning. Afterwards, Mommy and Daddy made our way to the Leeds Street house to finish removing some things in anticipation of our closing early next week. Mommy blessed the house for its new owners, and Daddy returned home to clean up and Mommy headed over to Grandma’s to get our Viking Prince and meet with GiGi to get our Gypsy Princess.

When everyone got home, we celebrated our reunion and settled in for a long afternoon nap, we all proved to be exhausted from the previous evening! After our nap, Mommy made us a delicious dinner and then we settled in the living room for some family time and television viewing. Around 8:30 p.m. Mommy made off with the two of you for a bath and preparation for bedtime. Daddy’s back and neck have been aching so terribly much, that after some medicine Daddy lay down on a living room couch and frankly was down for the countJ!

Mommy loved and nurtured the two of you, as only a Mommy can, and prepared you to settle in for an evening of rest in your own beds in your own beautiful home. Those are, indeed, beautiful words---home, sweet, home. We have a beautiful home, a beautiful family, and a beautiful future. And now, we are enjoying the now.

Love, love, love  “night, night” everyone!
