Tuesday's Snow Storm

The snow was a falling full force today, thankfully most of the morning snow melted immediately.  Mommy was able to get to work in Lafayette, but after only a few short hours after I left, it became apparent that it was not going to be a fun trip home :(

This morning before packing you up for Grandmoo's house, we had a mission to complete.  We arrived at Grandmoo's (thankfully in our dealer lender vehicle, our car is having a tow installed...Mommy dropped the car off last night after work before coming home).  We packed three feral cats in the back of our loaner jeep and headed to the Humane Society. Mommy had been offered three slots to have three ferals fixed by Purdue.  Purdue comes to our Humane Society once a month to fix animals for practice, which allows for lower adoption fees at the shelter :)  Grandmoo and her neighbor Amy were up late last night trying to catch three, which is not an easy task!  Grandmoo and Amy have their own neighborhood project to fix all the strays, ending future suffering of unwanted and homeless kitties.  People don't understand the suffering these cats endure when they are dump or abandoned, it's quite sad and disturbing.   Mommy pitches in whenever possible in anyway possible. Today was getting three cats fixed for free.  Mommy also provided three flee treatments so that the vets can put it on the cats while they are sedated...trying to do anything with a feral is nearly impossible...remember when Mommy tried turning "Mean Kitty" into a nice kitty ha/ha, it resulted in several doctor's appointments!  :(

Anyway, Grandmoo agreed to ride with us, so Mommy could leave you two in the car while I took the kitties inside.  Afterwards, we drove Grandmoo home and headed home for a couple of hours.  Mommy had to get our new car insured, pay some bills, make some calls, and prepare for work.  Then we were off to Grandmoo's once again :)  Mommy got you two inside and then hit the road. Two hours into my visit I had to cut the visit short. The roads were getting horrible.  Mommy transported the children home from their visit, stopped to pick up dinner for Daddy and I, and then picked up our car from the dealership.  After two hours of driving, Mommy finally made it home.  Mommy was trying not to be distracted by the constant text messages I was receiving...Aunt Laura, Aunt Sam, and Aunt Dianna were engaging in a hilarious group message session.  When Mommy made it home Daddy reported that you, Buddha, asked Daddy in the car where Mommy was.  When Daddy explained that Mommy was working in Lafayette, you said, "Mommy's out in this snow storm, that's dangerous."  Daddy put your little Mommy's Boy mind at ease by telling you that I was on my way home :)

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet boys!

Happy Red cheeked Buddha :)

Scary ha/ha!  What the heck happened to your cheeks?

Hahahahahha!
