Today was a scheduled busy day
for everyone. Daddy was up and away early, on his way to his domestic violence
intervention work. Mommy was up early getting ready for work, and getting both
of you ready to go see GiGi and GiPa.
When Daddy got off work he had to
run by the post-office and then a special trip to Joanne Fabrics to get Mommy
an additional water bottle for her diet supplement drink. By the time Daddy
made it home, everyone was gone and Daddy was left with instructions to feed the
animals (Arlo and Allie, Carly and Willard and Abraham, and Dora and Ella).
Daddy took care of our animals (Dora and Ella and Groucho—a new gray wild cat
abandoned by our former neighbors—had to wait for an evening feeding to keep
them on schedule). Daddy ate lunch and got to work catching up with numerous
projects from school.
At 1:30 p.m. Daddy went to pick
you two special angels up at GiGi’s and you both received wonderful behavior
reports from GiGi and GiPaJ.
You were both tired, so Daddy hurried home to get you each down for your nap.
Daddy then waited for our scheduled prospective buyers for the Mustang. Mommy
texted Daddy several times to check on each of you and to inquire if anyone had
come by to see the Ford Mustang (actually we had two prospective buyers
possibly coming by this evening).
At 3:45 p.m. two gentlemen came
to the house desiring to look over the Mustang, and shortly after they were
joined by “Sylvia” whom Daddy had only conversed with by phone up to then.
Sylvia proved to be such an incredibly nice person and introduced herself as a
mutual friend of a friend of Daddy’s who was once victimized by a horrific
crime Daddy investigated. The men were Sylvia’s husband and former-husband and
father of Sylvia’s teenage son. They took the Mustang for a test drive and
looked it over quite carefully and explained they would give it some thought
and contact us later. Within about an hour Sylvia called and expressed a
decision to purchase the MustangJ.
Daddy contacted Mommy with a text, and she was of course elated. Before Sylvia
left the house, the two of you awakened from your naps and came down to show
Sylvia your Hello Kitty collection and big-eyed-puppy-dog collection. I think
Sylvia would have taken both of you with the Mustang dealJ. Sylvia and her
husband also loved Arlo, and Daddy was tempted to toss him in as part of the
dealJ.
When Mommy got home we all went
out for a celebration dinner, and when we came back the Mustang was still in
the drive as Sylvia expressed they would pick it up tomorrow, so we all took
the occasion to say a prayer for Sylvia and her family and asked that the
Mustang prove as good a vehicle to her family as it was for us and to keep her
teenage son safe in the beautiful blue Mustang.
It proved to be a long day for
everyone, and none of us had difficulty hugging a pillow and finding our way to
“night, night.” We are blessed and we acknowledge our blessings through prayer
and meditation. And we celebrate each and every day our family love!!!
PS GiGi didn't take any pictures ha/ha!
