Fingers Crossed

This morning was rush rush rush.  Mommy had to be up early in order to meet, Melissa Simpson, Child & Family Partner's-Program Coordinator (Mommy's employer) for a service provider fair at the Youth Kinsey Center here in Kokomo.  We are still trying to break into Howard county to provide services to Juvenile probation and DCS.  Mommy has maintained work through primarily Lafayette cases in which the parents reside in Kokomo....Lafayette DCS has remained loyal to Mommy.  However, there are no longer any "Kokomo" parents to service...so Mommy has been driving to Lafayette two to three times per week.  Anyway, Melissa and I chatted with local DCS case managers, supervisors, and even the Director, as well as several Juvenile Probation Officers.  We were excited about the turnout and we have our fingers crossed to get some referrals rolling in, once they do, I'm certain they'll want to use us regularly :)

GiGi came over to play with you both the "hour" Mommy was away drumming up business, but Daddy luckily opted to work from home, giving Mommy a little extra time to stay with Melissa.  Mommy new she was pushing it when I was there over 2 1/2 hours, especially with Daddy being so stressed lately since he hasn't been getting all work done :(  Mommy picked up KFC fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and sides for lunch, and then Mommy got everything packed up...including you two, so that I could head to Lafayette for work.  Jude, you would not lay down for "quiet time," that's what we call nap times now, well since you won't take naps some days ha/ha You said, "Mommy, am I going to Grandmoo's house today," as you wrapped your little arms around my neck.  I told you, "yes, Jude, you are going to Grandmoo's while Mommy goes to work."  You then asked, "Mommy, Bo Bo is going too right?"  Mommy answered yes.  Buddha, you then jumped up and started shouting, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, Mommy I love you sooooo much!"  You are such a sucker!

After spending a fun afternoon and evening with Grandmoo, wearing her out as usual, Daddy picked you two up and returned you to your beds.  :) Buddha, you of course awakened after Mommy arrived home.  You are so attached to my hip, it's unbelievable, but your sister is getting just as bad.

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!  Oh yeah, GiGi came over to help Grandmoo as she trapped some cats to take in to the shelter to get fixed again.  Guess what we'll be doing tomorrow :)

I may or may not have pictures from today... it's Friday and I'm catching up.  I'll add pictures after the blog is current.  Daddy assures me he is going to help :)
