Is it time to go to Aunt Dianna's? Are we going to Aunt Dianna's? When are we going to Aunt Dianna's? Jude man, you would not stop talking about going to Aunt Dianna's. You are so cute, you are really starting to have complete conversations, and you get so serious when you do. Mommy can't help but to give you kisses after every sentence. You are growing into such a little man. You also love to say, "Amanda Lea, Super Momma!" I of course can't enough of you saying it. Bodhi, you are in a bit of a hateful stage believe it or not. You are beginning to get such an attitude and when Mommy tells you that you aren't being very nice, you still sometimes cry, but you are now beginning to give more attitude, ugggh! A few minutes after I address your meanness, you usually apologize and tell Momma that you need some lovin's. However, you and your brother continue to compete for "Momma's lovin's." It drives Mommy nuts how you two fight over who I hold, who I snuggle with...I have never had a shortage of lovin's to give, but you two apparently love to compete!
Anyway, Mommy received a text that Mommy's work was going to be cancelled, but my client got scared about cancelling and ended up calling me back to report they still wanted their visit. So, you two got packed up and Mommy took you to Aunt Dianna's around 4pm...finally! Jude, you always act so shy whenever I take you somewhere. You hide behind my leg, squeezing it tightly. After all your hype to go to Aunt Dianna's and once you are there, you won't let go of your Momma. Bodhi, you immediately showed Aunt Dianna your new dress and she told you exactly what Mommy told you she would... "You look BEAUTIFUL Bodhi!" :) You instantly got busy playing. Jude, Aunt Dianna had to distract you and then Mommy darted for the door, feeling horrible that you didn't want your Momma to leave. I knew you were in good hands and you would have a great time, so that made it tolerable.
Bodhi, no-nap-Bodhi, you fell and started crying for your Mommy. I had to interrupt my case management appointment to console you over the phone, which didn't work. You only cried harder. Aunt Dianna said you started laughing and were fine after we ended our call :) You guys played your little hearts out, and then Daddy picked you up at 7pm when he got off work. Daddy brought you two home and asked if Aunt Dianna fed you two. You two reported that she DID NOT!. Daddy got busy making you to dinner, but neither of you ate. When Mommy got home Daddy reported that he thought you two had fun and had another craft night, however he said "apparently Aunt Dianna didn't feed them, but they wouldn't eat for me." Mommy started busted out laughing. I said oh really. I said well Aunt Dianna sent me a text stating that they each ate their salads and that she has never seen two kids pound down spaghetti like our two. HA! I can't repeat what Daddy said hee/hee, but he called you two little liars. Daddy laughed when he saw the picture evidence that you two had in fact ate dinner, a lot of dinner :)-
Jude, you instantly woke up when Mommy arrived home from work. Mommy had to finish a visit log and send out a super long email, but you would not stay in bed. You climbed in bed with Mommy (papers spread all over the bed) and went to sleep. Mommy put you back in your bed so that I could finish, however, you managed to sneak downstairs and sleep cuddled next to Daddy while he worked on his work. He carried you to bed a little after 1am.
Aunt Dianna made Mommy and Daddy a special treat...the most awesome cinnamon rolls in the world! Thank you Aunt Dianna for taking care of our most treasured little people, and thank you for the BEST cinnamon rolls ever!
Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!
