Mommy grudgingly got up this morning to start our day. Mommy got busy finalizing a report for work, and then moved on to other paperwork...paperwork for our car, paperwork for our renter, paperwork for Mommy's billing etc...
Mommy then got us all showered and dressed. We packed up the car with empty bellies and headed to Lafayette to turn in paperwork. You two watched Shrek in the backseat of our reliable little Mazda, and once we arrived the frenzy began. You two were tired and had just fallen asleep in the backseat when Mommy had to take you out of the car. Mommy knew this was going to be a problem, both of you wanted Mommy to carry you. Bodhi, you are by no means a chunk, but you weigh so much. Mommy and Daddy joke about how heavy your brain must be. I'm estimating you at 50 pounds, it will be interesting to see just how much you weigh. Anyway, you both fussed and clinged to Mommy, not wanting Momma to talk to anyone but each of you!
Five hours at the dealership had Mommy pulling her hair out. You two eventually played int he play yard, but only if Mommy watched your every move. We were given a run through as to how to drive our car (with all our bells and whistles, and there are soooo many). Mommy didn't anticipate driving away a happy camper, but our ride is way awesome and Mommy couldn't help but feel relieved and satisfied :) This car is sure to spoil us all!
We made the long drive home where Sister Kelly and Daddy were awaiting our arrival. We picked Sister Kelly and Daddy up....yes, we can all ride in the same car now. See, Mommy knows what she is doing, I knew we wouldn't be happy with just a "bigger" vehicle, we needed third row seating for all five of Daddy's children :) Daddy and Sister Kelly loved our new ride :) It really is gorgeous! We all drove to Walmart, Meijers, Target, and Kmart. We needed a next stage car seat for you Ms. Big Girl Bodhi. We were one shy of what we have. Finally, after searching all the stores, we found what we needed at Target :)
We returned home where Daddy made you two dinner while Mommy and Sister Kelly went to pick up Chinese for us big people. Mommy actually had a craving for Chinese, despite all the disturbing "specials" I've seen on them ha/ha Unfortunately, it was not what I expected, we need a Panda Express in Kokomo to add to our restaurant collection Ha! :) Brother Aaron met us back at the house once he got out of school, and then we all ate dinner together. You two loved visiting with Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron. Sean Franky also stopped by a little bit later to check out our new ride. It was bedtime for the two of you, however, neither of you wanted to go to bed while Sean Franky was visiting. Mommy eventually got you both down.
Sweet Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes. We are definitely riding in style and comfort, we are so blessed!
