There is a song by one of Daddy’s favorite artists, Kris Kristofferson, titled Sunday Morning Coming Down and it has a lyric which goes…”well I woke up Sunday morning with no way to hold my head that didn’t hurt”…and Daddy’s back has him humming that song today. But Daddy made a promise to you two, and he will keep it so goodbye back pain…
Today, the two of you had another special treat, last night you had a visit from Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron, and today you had a visit from GiGi and Grandmoo!!! The two of you were in heaven playing with GiGi and Grandmoo, and Grandmoo even had time to help Daddy repair a section of our dining room floorJ.
Daddy also put up one of Mommy’s light fixtures, in the pantry, and it looks great. Daddy has a long way to go to keep up with Mommy’s home improvements: she has painted several rooms, hung some beautiful picture display fixtures in our hallway, is cleaning up her craft room, the two of you will learn, Mommy (like Grandmoo) is a dynamo when it comes to home décor and improvementJ.
The two of you enjoyed playing with each other this morning, again it was too cold to venture outside, but we all had fun inside nonetheless. You were talking up a storm again today, Bodhi, and you try as best you can to keep up with her, BuddhaJ. You repeated “China” and “kung foo” numerous times this afternoon, Bodhi, as the three of us watched “The Monkey King” while Mommy took a nap.
Daddy tried to do some back exercises while we watched the show, but the two of you accepted that as an invitation to practice “kung foo.”J
The temperature outside is dropping fast again tonight, so Mommy decided to give the two of you a bath, dress you both in your warm pajamas and snuggle you both in for the night surrounded by your blankets and your caterpillar stuffed animal, Bodhi, and your stuffed monkey, Buddha. You both had a fun day, with your visits with GiGi and Grandmoo, and you both loved playing with your basketballs Mommy and Daddy got for you yesterday.
Another wonderful day with the two most beautiful babies, and beautiful Mommy, and a Daddy who can’t get enough of any of you!!! “Night, night”…love and peace!

PS… Mommy had a panic moment this morning. After staying up very late (or early) working on our shelves in the entry, Mommy heard Daddy close the pocket door this morning, and suddenly realized… OH CRAP, Mommy had been drilling and screwing into the wall with the pocket door! Mommy cringed and waited for Daddy to yell up the stairs the bad news, but he never did. Mommy went downstairs expecting the worst… holes in our beautiful pocket door, but NOPE! Mommy didn’t mess it up! YAY! AND our shelves are still on the wall J
