A Mellow Brick Road...: Daddy's Home!

This morning Mommy got you two started off with a good breakfast. Mommy made you each sausage patties, fried eggs, and toast. You two chowed down! Afterwards, GiGi came over to take you to her and Gi-Pa's house for a couple of hours while Mommy worked. Daddy was in Indy still, working and suffering from a terrible tooth ache and back pain.

Bodhi, you had GiGi and Gi-Pa swinging you and Bubba in a blanket all morning. They were wore out! Mommy took you home, but couldn't keep you awake during the short car ride home :( Mommy carried you inside, Buddha, you walked in beside Mommy who was carrying Bodhi. You are becoming such a little man. Use to, you would run off, today, you looked around standing next to Mommy, smiling while listening to the birds :) Bodhi, you would not go to sleep for anything. You of course woke up going into the house. Mommy gave you some Tylenol for your teeth, but you still took forever to fall asleep. Buddha, you fell asleep no problem. You both slept super late. Mommy worked on bills while you two napped, and once 4:30 p.m. rolled around, Mommy decided it was probably best if I wake you guys up. Jude, you were sitting in your crib looking up at the pictures. Mommy finally hung your picture mobile above your crib yesterday. Bodhi, you were not ready to get up and you were non-stop cranky for several hours afterwards. Sister Kelly, Brother Aaron, and Uncle Robert the Bruce stopped by for a visit :) By the end of the evening, at around 10:00 p.m., Mommy had you in a good mood and all settled for bed. Mommy played with you, and you helped Mommy pack you and your brother's overnight bag for Aunt Ti's tomorrow. You said you were excited to spend the night at Aunt Ti's tomorrow:) Mommy has her Graduate school comprehensive exam (several long long papers) to do this weekend. Mommy will receive the questions tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. and has to submit them by Sunday at 5:00 p.m. If Mommy doesn't pass these, Mommy can't earn her Master's degree!

So the plan for this weekend consists of you two staying overnight at Aunt Ti's Friday until Saturday at noon. We'll then pick you up and take you home for your afternoon nap. Once you two wake up, you are going to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's until it's time for you to go to bed Saturday night. Sunday is still up in the air. This weekend is going to suck BIG time! Mommy and Daddy are going to be so cranky and sad without our little Buddha and Bodhi! Wish Mommy luck!

Sweet dreams my sweet babes. Mommy and Daddy love you both so much. You two were so happy to see Daddy this evening. Daddy wasn't much fun because he was in so much pain, but you two still soaked up some Daddy time :)
