Oh morning came too soon. Mommy stayed up until 2am grading papers for Daddy. Mommy was beyond tired, and ended up sleeping a little later than expected. It through us off schedule and Mommy into a frenzy. Bodhi, you had got up oober early and sat and watched cartoons while your Daddy completed his work. Buddha, you weren't feeling well but that didn't stop you from waking up with a big smile on your face. You just had some added snot running into that big smile :0 Mommy shipped you off to Aunt Ti's for the day and then rushed to work. Aunt Ti reports that you both had a good day and that you both were good babes. Aunt Ti found Lizzie's phone packed in your guy's bag. Mommy had told on you, Bodhi, for being a super swiper and stealing Lizzie's phone. You are always swiping something!
In between working, Mommy managed to arranged to have the previous sofa we ordered and returned, delivered to us again today. Mommy and Sister Kelly have been talking about needing more seating for our family get-togethers and we have Sean Franky's birthday this weekend. So, after talking to Daddy about his preference, we decided to do two sofas. They are in the same fabric, and they have a similar frame, but the arms are different. Our living room actually looks bigger with two sofas! Mommy and Daddy even figured a configuration that allows us to keep our chair and ottoman in the room too. We have more than enough seating for everyone to snuggle up on and enjoy each other's company :)
After Mommy picked you two up from Aunt Ti's, Jude, you would not stop screaming. You wanted out of your car seat. Mommy took you two to Hobby Lobby to pick up another round pillow for our new couch. You both act like you have never been to a store ha/ha... you both were "Ooooooh'ing" and "awwww'ing" at everything you saw. This was the first time in three years since Mommy had been in our local Hobby Lobby store! Mommy, as Daddy has previously explained, had boycotted the store. Daddy says they have a new manager, so Mommy thought she would give them another shot. Once we arrived home Grandpa Kurt was waiting. He and Great Grandma Penny had stopped by earlier btuut we weren't home. You two were so excited about cookies that you didn't spend much time "Ooooh'ing" over our new living room :)- Grandpa Kurt stayed and visited and Mommy put you, Buddha, down for the night. You did not want Mommy to rock you, or stand and rock you, so Mommy put you in your crib and you screamed your head off for like five minutes. Mommy went back in and told you that I was only going to give it one more try before you were on your own. You were then content with Mommy rocking you and fell right to sleep, snoring up a storm! Bodhi, you wanted Daddy to put you to bed :( Mommy told you sweet dreams (but I knew you wouldn't be content with Daddy putting you to bed). Of course you got up and had even taken your diaper off. So Mommy retucked you back into bed. Sweet dreams my sweet babes.
Oh and Bodhi, Grandpa Kurt messed up our tv. Buddha, you grabbed all the remotes and started walking up to the tv. Bodhi, you died laughing and had the funniest facial expressions when Grandpa Kurt said Buddha was going to fix the tv. You got Mommy and Grandpa laughing so hard, which only inspired you to keep laughing and repeating "Buddha fix it."
We're all worried about Grandma Betty and sending our love to Grandma Betty, Auntie Debbie, Auntie Terrie, and Auntie Diane!! xooxoxox
