A Mellow Brick Road...: Wednesday's Child is Full of Woe

Yikes, I don't know about you babes, but Mommy would like a do-over or a "hurry up and make it Thursday" already! You two went to Aunt Ti's this morning, usually Wednesdays are your Daddy day. However, Daddy had work he needed to try and catch up on (which he says four hours doesn't even begin to put a dent in all the work he is expected to complete), Mommy also went to work... Mommy's client needed some more case management time to complete her tasks, so she dipped into your Mommy time for today :( Aunt Ti reported to Daddy that you both were your usual happy selves and a joy :) Aunt Ti adores you two, and you two LOVE Aunt Ti! Aunt Ti instructed Daddy to get you, Bodhi, a bike helmet because you love to wear it at her house all the time! Buddha, you love to push a play lawn mower around the yard... so, Mommy and Daddy are going to be on the lookout for a bike helmet and play lawn mower :) Buddha, you are so much like your Momma, and Bodhi, you are so much like your Daddy, it's kind of scary!

Our evening wasn't very exciting :( We played inside and Mommy tried to make the most of it with you two, but Buddha, you weren't happy. Bodhi, you were fine watching cartoons and cuddling with Momma. Buddha, you wanted to go outside after dinner, but it was getting late and Mommy had to get you settled before going to bed. You were a cranky lil' man this evening! Mommy feels like she is getting sick and Bo, you acted as though you weren't feeling good after your nap, but Mommy babied you and gave you some Tylenol and you seemed to feel better as the evening went on. Buddha, Daddy put you to bed at 7:30pm, you have been staying up until 8:30-9pm, but you started banging your head on random objects and no matter what Mommy tried, you were not happy. I'd pick you up, put you down, pick you up, put you back down, hugs, hugs, and more hugs, then you started rubbing your eyes and that's your "tell" for you're past tired. Never mind that your tantrums are getting more and more severe, especially when you are a sleepy boy! BTW, you and your sister were born on Wednesdays... "Wednesday's child is full of woe," is how the nursery rhyme goes... and it couldn't be more fitting for you this Wednesday evening, Buddha! Hopefully tomorrow will be better, and hopefully none of us are getting sick!!! Sweet Dreams baby butts!
