A Mellow Brick Road...: Running From the Rain

This morning started out just like yesterday, a mad dash to the car to avoid the cold cold rain! You two went to Aunt Ti's, per our usual Thursday morning routine! However, it's now dark outside when we leave, and Mommy LOVES it! I feel so much more productive, like when I was working at DCS and I had to leave at 6:00am to make it to work on time! This morning Bodhi, you helped Mommy pick out Jude's outfit for the day. He had woke up at 5am but Mommy was able to get him back to sleep, and he stayed asleep while Mommy was getting ready for work and after Mommy got you up to get you dressed. Bodhi, you saw a sweater with a skunk on it, pointed to it, and said "Ooooh...yeah!" You are always holding your nose, pointing to "your Bubba," and saying "peee ewwww!" Mommy laughed and agreed to dress Bubba in his skunk sweater :) Bodhi, Mommy picked out a sweater that Grandmoo bought you last year with some cute jean leggings. You pointed to your sweater and said "GiGi," Mommy replied, "no, Grandmoo." You were so cute, you then said "Ooh Grandmoo." Mommy also put your knee high boots on you, the pair that looks just like Grandmoo's and you pointed and said, "Grandmoo," and Mommy said "Yep, just like Grandmoo's." You are so smart little Bodhi girl. You two had another wonderful day at Aunt Ti's :) You both showered Momma with kisses and hugs when I arrived to pick you up. Mommy likes when she gets lovin's from her babes!

This evening, after your naps, Grandmoo came over so Mommy could go to work for a little bit. Grandpa Kurt showed up to cook us an unbelievably delicious dinner...steaks and shrimp on the grill. Grandpa Kurt makes the BEST steaks ever! It's been a very long time since Mommy had one of Grandpa's steaks, he use to make them for Mommy on the weekends when Mommy was in high school! Our evening was spent watching Grandpa Kurt cook, playing, and baths. Bodhi, you decided Grandpa was tracking in way to much dirt from outside, stuck your play mop in the dog water and started mopping the floors hee/hee You made a huge mess, but Mommy couldn't scold you because you were trying to clean :) You are so precious! Buddha, you were running around smelling all the food, grunting your usual dinner grunt! You are such a little piggy man!

On Mommy's way to work this evening, I of course drove by our new house! Mommy was so excited to finally see the sold sign attached to the for sale sign in the yard. The owners of the home were taking their name decal/window thingy off of the front door! YAY! Mommy and Daddy are so excited! Tomorrow we sign the papers and find out an exact move-in date :) Mommy and Daddy are crossing all of our fingers, hoping they won't require the full 30 days to move!

Mommy got word today that the couple that was interested in our house loved it, but they decided to rent for a few more months in order to save for a down payment... so, no luck with our house, but Mommy's knows it's just a matter of time :)
