Happy Birthday Little Ava!

This morning Mommy got you up both up, fed, dressed, and played until Daddy arrived home from work.  Once Daddy arrived home, Mommy went to work and ran some errands.  You both had a great morning with Daddy... so great, Bodhi, you decided that you didn't need a nap :(  Buddha, you didn't nap yesterday, so it was only appropriate your sister didn't nap today!  Buddha, once you woke up, Mommy fed you both dinner and we were getting ready to head out the door to go to the Federspill's to celebrate little Ava's 3rd birthday, but you decided to have a major poo explosion.  So, Mommy got you undressed, cleaned up, and then we were headed for the door when Mommy looked down and discovered.... you had actually exploded all over Mommy's clothes too, Ewwww ew ewwwww!  So, Mommy had to run back inside and change clothes.  So, we tried it again... on our way out the door, when Mommy smelled something horrible.... Yep, Bodhi, you had decided all this waiting around was a perfect time to take a poo too!  Oh man!  Third times a charm!  We finally made it to Ava's party, a half hour late :(  Better late than never, I guess.

Bodhi, you were being very shy!  You attached yourself to your Momma for a while.  Buddha, you acted like a weirdo and watched the ceiling fan, laughing hu, hu, hu, while reaching your arms up toward it Bahahahahaha!  It was almost embarrassing, I thought we should have all been wearing helmets (it's never obvious to Momma until we are out in public, just how "odd" we all are) hahaha!  Anyway, you two pretty much entertained yourselves.  Momma Mia latched on to you Jude, she loves that you are a little baby man!  Bo, you decided to play with all of Mia's and Ava's play equipment rather than participate in all the fun activities.  However, you did manage to snatch up some candy goods from the pinata'!  Mommy was so proud of you ;)  You two had a really great time, well, until Aunt Amanda showed you, Bodhi, how to do a scratch transfer on your pumpkin project, and you having missed your nap, flew off the handle and into a complete crying fit.  You made Aunt Amanda feel so horrible.  You were just very sleepy!  We headed home minutes after you started crying Bodhi, you weren't letting up.  You both did have a great time, we stayed about two hours :)  Mommy got to meet little Charlotte, Emmy Lou's brand new beautiful baby girl.  Mommy cannot believe Emmy is a Momma.  Mommy grew up with Aunt Amanda and Emmy, and it's so unreal we're all adults with our own families!

After the party, Mommy went to work for an hour and a half, and then we all cuddled up on the couch, ate dinner, and watched a movie.  Bodhi, you fell asleep, Jude, Mommy managed to keep you up until 9:30pm, so when Momma said "night night" you repeated "night night" and walked to the stairs to go up to bed.  Daddy couldn't believe it took Mommy all of two minutes to get you to sleep, without a single whimper :)  Today was a great day!  Maybe tomorrow we'll go to the apple orchard or pumpkin patch :)

Bo, Mommy didn't realize I didn't get very many pictures of you today until I uploaded them.  You usually have more pictures than your brother, so this is a make-up day for Bubba.  Mommy will be sure to get some good pics of you tomorrow :)  Mommy loves you both so much!  You two are such amazingly good babes.

Happy Birthday Ava :)

"Yeah, I got a princess wand, but I"m secure in my masculinity, what about it?"

Bodhi girl doing her own thing :)  of course!

Momma Mia ;)

Buddha, you thought your princess wand was a bubble maker tool at first, it was so funny to watch you blow on it for a good hour hee/hee

Let the potato sack race begin!  Ready, Set, GO!

Go Ava Go!

Daddy Mike giving little Ava some help :)
