Shots, Shots, Shots

Today was a chilly, wet day and we all got off to an early start by taking the two of you to your Doctor’s Appointment. Dr. Zentz, an incredibly nice and always upbeat man, enthusiastically characterized the two of you as perfect! You both had to have your scheduled shots though and you, Bodhi, got two—one in each thigh, and you, Buddha, got five! Yikes! You both were wonderful though, and you each got Band-Aids (which you loved Bodhi!) and a sticker!
After our doctor’s office visit, we had to part company because Daddy had a day-long meeting scheduled in Indianapolis. By the time I got home, Mommy (and Bodhi) had cleaned the house thoroughly and was preparing dinner. Grandpa Kurt stopped by (to be surprised we were eating because he had intended to come over and cook shrimp and steak—he and Mommy had words over the misunderstanding :) and visited with each of you.
While you were eating Bodhi, Daddy asked you if you had a good day, and you said without hesitation “no!” So, I asked you why you didn’t have a good day, and again without hesitation you said “MooMoo.” Mommy and I laughed as she explained to me that Grandmoo wouldn’t let you have your sunglasses today because you apparently weren’t behaving and you refused to say “please” (which Daddy can’t believe) and you seemed to conclude that the whole incident ruined your day :).
Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped by to visit and each played with the two of you until Mommy got home from having to go out to meet her client, and then they headed for home. We were all so tired, and finally Jude started agreeing with Mommy when she kept asking him if he wanted to go “night, night.” You would repeat the words, Buddha, and walk toward the stairs to let Mommy know you were indeed ready for bed.
So Daddy is finishing up the blog for the night and intends to go lay down on the couch with Bodhi for a little while before it is time for her to go off to bed, so we can all then “hit the sack.” The day is ending like it began, chilly and wet and tired!!!
Goodnight you incredibly precious babies, and you wonderfully, exquisitely beautiful Mommy!!!
Buddha you won the "super trooper" award today with your five shots!

Mr. Murff, I'm getting ready to hug you, are you ready? ;)

Tired Bodhi girl having an after dinner snack :0

Cuddle time with Daddy :)

"Night Night Momma!" :)
