Well, today was Wednesday, traditionally a Daddy’s day, but the two of you had a special treat in store for you!
We started the day with Daddy feeding Buddha his oatmeal breakfast and getting you dressed, and then Daddy got Bodhi dressed and stocked with some fresh apple cider. Mommy had to get off to work, while Daddy stayed with Buddha and Bodhi during our visit from Ms. Connie. You weren’t very talkative the first thirty minutes, Bodhi, but you opened up more during the second thirty minutes. All-in-all you had a good session with Ms. Connie.
Then came a great surprise for both of you: GiGi came over to pick the two of you up and take you home where she constructed a little tent for the two of you to play together, she even provided each of you your own flashlight. Of course, the two of you loved every minute of your time with GiGi and GiGi Pa and after you had lunch with them, you came home in time for Mommy to get back and settle you both in for a nap.
Mommy and Daddy took advantage of the time today to get some work done, and after “our” naps we packed up to go shopping, but as we were pulling out of the drive MooMoo intercepted us and invited Jude to stay with her and rake leaves. You reached your arms out for MooMoo, Jude, and Emilia decided to go with Mommy and Daddy.
We weren’t gone all that long, but by the time we did get home we were ready for our dinner of roast and potatoes and carrots that Mommy and Daddy had cooking in the crock pot all day. MooMoo brought you home, Jude, and said you ate with her while we were gone, but you still insisted on eating dinner with us as well---even though you had your dinner before we left! You are going to be a good sized young man and outstanding quarterback and basketball and baseball player, we are all convinced!!!
We were all ready for a good night’s sleep, especially as much cooler and rainy weather arrived this evening. Close those beautiful eyes, you precious elves—you Prince and Princess of Indiana :)
