A Sick Buddha and An Ornery Bodhi

Jude, you again went to bed last night with a fever of 100.7, but your temperature was back to normal by the time you woke up this morning.  We haven't got much sleep the last three days!  However, you both managed to sleep through some major storms and tornado warnings, including Haynes' weather alert sirens last night!  Mommy was all alone and scared.  I didn't know if I should wake you two to take you to our nasty, dirty, scary basement, or not.  Mommy called Grandmoo and had her come over and watch the news with me, so we could decide what to do.  Uncle Bruce Rood called, at Aunt Laura's request, to let me know that I didn't need to wake you both and that he would call should the weather take a turn for the worse.  Mommy was relieved!  Mommy was amazed you both slept through the annoying Haynes' weather alert sirens.  Neither of you sleep through the siren tests when they sound at noon each Friday!   You both scream and cry, they actually sound like they are warning everyone that we're being invaded, like in a horror film, very scary!

Anyway, this morning, Mommy lost track of time playing with you both, so you both went down for a late nap.  We had fun together this morning!  We read several new books and played in the diaper box for hours.  Today, was Mommy's day to refill all the diaper baskets throughout the house, and you both love when Mommy empties a box.

Mommy had to wake you, Jude, to go to your 3pm doctor's appointment.  Mommy learned at your appointment, a fever of a 102.5 is NOT caused from teething!  You in fact have another ear infection.  Dr. Zentz said on a scale of 1-10, your ear infection is a 7!  He couldn't believe that you weren't crying and fussier!  Since it's April, Dr. Zentz is not considering tubes.  Dr. Zentz said, if we were still in the middle of winter, you'd be getting tubes :(  Poor little man!  Mommy had chronic ear infections as a child too.  Jude, you weighed 23.7 today!  Goodness, you are a BIG boy!  You are going to catch your sister in no time.

Bodhi, you slept while Mommy took Jude to the doctor.  Grandmoo came over and sat with you while we were gone.  Grandmoo greeted you when you awakened from your nap, and then you went with Mommy to get cat food for the stray neighborhood kitties.  Jude, you stayed inside where it's warm with Grandmoo!  Bodhi, we also went to the Dollar Store to get a few items.  You decided to hide from Mommy in a clothing rack, you scared me to death.  I couldn't find you, and when I finally noticed your little feet under one of the racks, I continued to act like I didn't know where you were.  I kept yelling, "Bodhi, where are you."  Mommy could see over the top of the rack you standing real still with a big smile on your face.  You are such a little sucker!  When we arrived back home, you immediately went and retrieved the pooper scooper and tried to stick it in Daddy's grill, in the front of his car.  Mommy caught you in the act!  You trembled when Mommy said "Bodhi!"  It was so funny, you were trying to be sneaky while Mommy was unloading the car again.

This evening Sean Franky stopped by.  He witnessed you, Bodhi, eat three separate meals.  Grandmoo fed you, then Mommy fed you, and then when Daddy arrived home, you suckered him into giving you some bites off his plate!  It's a good thing you are an active outdoors girl!  With Mommy's genetics, you are capable of getting huge!!!!  Poor Jude, you are huge :)  You both eat nothing but healthy foods, and drink lots of water, so you both will be okay.  After dinner(s), Mommy gave you both a bath together, and was careful not to get your ears wet, Jude.  You both love your bath time together.  It is honestly the only time of the day you both truly enjoy each other's company.  You both splash each other, laugh at one another, and play with toys together! :)  You two are priceless in the bath!
