Mommy solved the mystery... Jude, you are sitting on your bum, rocking yourself back and forth in a bouncing motion, and scooting yourself to where ever your heart desires (inch by inch). It wears Mommy out just watching you, and your are quite funny when you are doing it :) It takes you like 10 bounces back and forth to move an inch hee/hee Bodhi, you crawled after you walked, so we're a little off when it comes to the whole crawling and walking thing!
Bodhi, this afternoon you were awakened by Mommy and Ms. Connie for your first speech therapy session. You were kind of in shock with a stranger standing above your crib beside Mommy, but you warmed up to Ms. Connie very quickly. This wouldn't be the last time you were in shock today! Ms. Connie allowed you to pull out all of the toys from her bag. She tried to teach you new words by saying them, and then repeating the word and signing the word to you. Bodhi, you would sign the words you already knew like, "please," "more," and "thank you," but when Ms. Connie asked you to repeat and sign a new word, you would do one of two things; you would either ignore her completely and continue playing, or you would roll your eyes at her with a funny look on your face and then turn to Mommy to play. Bodhi, our homework for next week is to practice signing the words "food," "drink," "help," "cow," "pig," and "horse." Ms. Connie said you are very smart Bodhi :) and you seemed to really like her. So, at worst, you'll have an hour of playtime with Ms. Connie each week!
This evening, Jude, you stayed and played with Daddy, and Bodhi, you went with Mommy to Walmart to get baby food for Jude, as well as some other needed items. It never fails, the last time you and your Momma were in Walmart by ourselves, a man with a long beard walked up to us and started commenting how adorable you were, and the next thing we knew, he took your hand and and started combing your hand through his beard. Yep, I'm sorry, that is all Mommy can say. I was in shock. You too were in shock! We both just looked at each other in shock. I don't know what else to say, other than Mommy and Daddy aren't rich so we unfortunately have to shop Walmart hee/hee. Mommy HATES Walmart, the whole Walmart experience, and much prefers shopping at Target! Anyway, today we were standing in line waiting to check out and you were starting to get a little fussy. Mommy was trying to entertain you the best I could. Well, the gentleman in front of us, a very nice gentleman, a mentally handicapped gentleman, Mommy doesn't know the politically correct term to describe him, but he appeared to be mentally handicapped and his eyes were crossed, decided he was going to help Mommy entertain you. He started talking to you, telling you to "mind your Momma" (which made me smile) but he then proceeded to touch your nose and say "mind your Momma," over an over, what felt like an eternity. Bahahhaha! You were so freaked out by this strange crossed eyed man touching your nose and telling you to mind your Momma (I'm hoping it scared you straight and now you will always mind Momma)! Your little lip started quivering and your face began to scrunch. Mommy was shocked because you are fearless, but you just couldn't control yourself and Mommy could see that you were trying to squeel but nothing was coming out but a gasp (you get that from me, when I'm in shock and try to say or scream nothing comes out} hee/hee. At least he was friendly and clean, the bearded guy's hygiene was suspect at best :) Bodhi, you were extra affectionate with your Mommy the rest of the night :) bahahahhahah!
Jude, you were so mad at your Momma for leaving you, you snubbed Mommy when Mommy took you from Daddy. When I would try to talk to you, you would just look away with a less than pleased look on your face :( Mommy is sorry! I can't even protect Bodhi on our shopping missions, what the heck would I do with two of you?

Bodhi butt... Mommy tried real hard to wait to put you down for your nap after Haynes sounded their weekly weather sirens, but you were just wayyy too tired!

Mommy usually has the bath filled when she asks if you want to take a bath hee/hee :)

Bodhi, you think it's so funny to lay back in the water after Mommy combs your hair ;) Mommy has to start all over!
