Today, was a wonderful family Sunday. After you both woke from your naps, Jude, you woke up an hour before your sister, we all went to the mall. Daddy had a bookstore adventure planned for us. So we went, and we ended up getting you, Bodhi, a book on clearance, "Everyone Daydreams." We also went to Old Navy and bought you, Bodhi, a soccer ball with peace signs on it (since Mr. Murff popped your last ball) and an IU t-shirt. Jude, we also bought you an IU t-shirt that matches your sister's shirt. It was so beautiful out today. Mommy kept hinting that everyone would be much happier outside and preferably at the park. It came down to Mommy bribing Daddy with a cheese pizza and a car ride to the park, rather than Mommy's cooking and a stroller walk to the park. Your Daddy insisted that it was going to rain, but it didn't. So we headed to Foster park.
Our picnic got off to a rough start. Jude, you immediately started crying, the pizza box about flew off the table, and Bodhi, you were highly distracted with all the kids playing at the playground a few yards away. Everyone eventually ate pizza, well with the exception of you Juders, you nursed before we left for the mall. Jude, you were not too thrilled with us eating in front of you either. Afterwards, Daddy laid on the blanket with you, Jude. Mommy wasn't having that! Mommy made Daddy take you, Bodhi, over to the play equipment. Mommy and Jude followed behind. Bodhi, you started climbing the slide and Mommy told Daddy to go up with you, half way up, Daddy changed his mind hee/hee So, Mommy took you down the slide instead. Daddy, despite seeing pictures of you swinging, thought you were too little to swing Jude! Daddy for the longest time, just stood there holding you in the swing, that is until Mommy asked why he wasn't swinging you and he replied he didn't think you could swing. Daddy then started swinging you Jude and he was amazed at how much you loved it. After about a half hour, Daddy got the hang of the playground experience and started playing, snapping pictures, and really enjoying himself. We stayed out for quite a while and we all ended up having a blast. Daddy had such a good time, he has now designated Sundays as family day at the park hee/hee Mommy ran into one of Mommy's old softball buddy's father, Jeff Phillips. He was there with his youngest daughter's daughter, Emma. She sure was a cutey! Emma is two years old and sliding all by herself (on the little curly slide). Mommy was scared to let you Bodhi, little Miss Dare Devil, go by yourself, but Mommy eventually talked herself into letting you try it on your own. You were so excited and beaming with pride after sliding down by yourself! Mommy and Daddy were hooting and hollaring, you just smiled ear to ear :) We should have been cheering for ourselves, Mommy is certain you would have went down by yourself months ago, had I just let you hee/hee You then went down the slide several more times... You thought you were hot stuff!
Once home, Mommy fed you, Jude, two containers of bananas, plums, and brown rice baby food. You were a hungry boy! Bodhi, you had two cups of fruit and then Mommy threw you in the bath. It's been several days since your last bath, and though it was late, you needed a bath bad! You loved it, you were so relaxed and even laid back and just soaked at one point. Mommy had to drain the water to get you out. Even after draining the water you insisted on laying on the bottom of the tub as if you were going to sleep in there. :) You went to bed an hour later than usual, but you took a long nap today, so Mommy figures it will all even out. Today, was an awesome day and a beautiful day!

We tried a new "belly" method of swinging today Bodhi. You LOVED it!

Mommy's new dream house... Mommy drove by this house the other day and told Daddy about it. We went back by and they were working on it and they let Mommy go inside and look around. It was amazing! Needs a lot of work and is in a less than ideal location, but has so much character Mommy could build from :)
