Food, Family, and Fun

Jude, this morning you were playing with Bodhi's kitty cat piano and pushed the button that played the hokey pokey song, and you immediately started shakin' it.  You were so cute!  Mommy and Daddy were cracking up.  You've become quite the sturdy sitter, Jude.  Bodhi, you were loving again this morning and you gave your Mommy and Daddy lots of hugs and kisses.  You also saw Mommy's tattoo on her back, walked up to it, rubbed your hand across it, and then looked at Mommy and rolled your eyes.  Mommy thought this was too funny, you acted as though you were judging your Momma!

This afternoon, after naps, Mommy cleaned up the kitchen, started dinner, and took you both for a walk.  First, we took the boys to the field, and then we walked to Foster to play.  Jude, you fell asleep and remained asleep the whole time we were at the park.  Bodhi, after about a half hour of playing, several moms and their children showed up at the park.  There was this one particular boy, probably about 7 or 8 years old, who was very rude.  He pushed your Mommy down the slide as I was trying to get you positioned, and then he yelled once we reached the bottom, "you gotta yell all clear when your off."  He also whizzed by you and knocked you up against the hand rail.  He then whizzed by you again, knocking you on your bum, Mommy couldn't help but think to herself how she wanted to smack the piss out of him and his Mom, who was too busy socializing to supervise or correct him!  Mommy shouldn't have these thoughts, but I'm very protective of you and your brother, and all of our family for that matter!  Mommy then yelled, "Bodhi, come here before he runs you over again."  The moms looked up for a brief moment and then continued doing whatever it was they were doing.  It didn't phase you one bit Bodhi, you got up and continued to play and have a good time.  I think you should know Bodhi, when Mommy told Daddy about the little boy, Daddy asked why I didn't knock him on his ass and yell to his mom, "why don't you come get your boy, it looks like he just fell off the slide!" Hee/hee!  Grandmoo  drove over to the park to see you swing Bodhi, but Mommy was walking you and your brother home when she had arrived. So, Grandmoo visited with you from her truck as we were strolling along.  You got a kick out of her driving beside us.

Once home, Mommy made dinner and fed you both. Sister Kelly came over and had dinner with us too. Jude, you had mashed potatoes for the first time tonight.  You seemed to really like them but you would gag when they first entered your mouth.  It was definitely a new experience for you, the texture was much thicker than you are use to.  Bodhi, you went to town on the chicken noodles with mashed potatoes, and Great Papaw Grills' Tennessee grown green beans.  We all love Great Papaw Grills' canned vegetables :)
