Yeah! Today is Zumba night for Momma! Momma loves her hour away burning fat, however, the preparation and aftermath is a lot of planning and a lot of work. It would be so easy to never leave the house, but that would make for one cranky Momma. To most, and I was guilty of this too, you wouldn't think it would be all that difficult staying home with the occasional outing, especially after working the high stress, highly emotion job that Mommy previously worked (Child Protection), but staying home with you both, maintaining our routine, while getting myself and the both of you ready for a little time out of the house, is quite stressful. There's the confirming who is watching who, who needs what, who needs to know what, and then getting you both ready, packing you both, making sure you both are fed, snacks, bottles (breast or formula), sippie cups, toys, medicine and then the transporting... it spirals into a "big-to-do." Mommy thinks it would be so much easier to drop you two off, go to work, and then pick you up in the evening after work. However, after six months of staying home with you both, Mommy can't imagine missing out on the time I get to spend with you both! Plus, the little time we would have if I worked outside the home, would just be in preparation to take and pick you both up the next day... not much quality time left. So, though Mommy never imagined staying at home raising babies, and always pictured myself being a working Momma, I'm very thankful that your Daddy is willing to sacrifice his time with you both and work outside the home so Mommy can be home with the two of you apple heads. Mommy is also appreciative that she has such great friends and supportive family that encourage and help out so that I can occasionally do something fun, like taking a Zumba class!
Bodhi, this morning you played with your dolls with Mommy and Jude. Mommy would say, "Momma Bodhi, babies need lots of hugs and kisses," and then I would hug and kiss Jude, you would then hug and kiss your babies. Mommy went through all the Mommy duties, demonstrating on Jude, and you copied right a long with your babies. I think we all especially enjoyed our playtime this morning. We bathed our babies, fed our babies, diapered our babies, put our babies down for naps, played with our babies, etc...
This evening, Bodhi you went to Grandmoo's, and Jude, you went to GiGi's and Gi-Pa Poncho's while Mommy Zumba'd. Jude, you ate and passed out, but woke immediately when Mommy arrived to pick you up :) Bodhi, you played at Grandmoo's and then she brought you home and you both played with the boys out back. Sean Franky stopped by and took some pictures for Mommy while I was putting Jude down for the night. Franky got some really good pictures of you, Bodhi :) Bodhi, you were especially fussy tonight, but we got through it and you went right to sleep at bedtime. Jude, you had apples and blueberries for dinner, and you also went right back to sleep once home.
Oh! And Jude, when Mommy was feeding Bodhi in the kitchen today, you were in on a blanket in the living room playing with your toys (you had woke before Bodhi and had already eaten), but when I checked in on you, you had either scooted or crawled clear across the room. Mommy then watched you for several minutes, trying to observe how you were getting across the room, but you wouldn't move. Mommy put you back in on your blanket several times, and each time you would again move across the room without Mommy observing. At this time, it's a mystery, but tomorrow Mommy is going to secretly watch and see how exactly you are getting around :)
Bodhi after eating raviolis at lunch ;)
This is where Mommy kept placing you Jude... you then would find your way to your bouncy seat clear across the room ;)
"Happy Buddha" ;)
Jude, you are the most beautiful and sweetest baby boy in all the world!
Buddha and Bodhi getting ready to part ways for an hour and a half :0
Jude, you were greeted by Franky when you arrived home :)
Bodhi, you are the most unique and beautiful baby girl in all the world! ;)
Bodhi having a blast outside :)
Bodhi, you decided to take a break from pooper scooping duty, while Grandmoo continued on :)
Bodhi and Grandmoo... going around in circles! You love when Grandmoo spins you around!
Bodhi, you also love when Grandmoo acts like she's going to drop you! Little do you know usually Grandmoo is not acting hee/hee
