Wow, what a day today! We were busy, busy, busy!
Mister Brown finished up some of our initial electrical repairs in the house, including the hanging of Mommy’s kitchen flying pig chandelier (which she loves, and is a gift from MooMoo) and her new “Gypsy” dining room chandelier (which has become her focal point of our new houseJ). Mister Brown is incredibly kind and left behind one of his very nice aluminum ladders for Mommy to finish one of her painting projectsJ
Daddy is frantically attempting to finalize his work obligations for end-of-semester, and genuinely needs two days uninterrupted to accomplish his work. Today would prove to not be one of those needed uninterrupted onesJ Daddy was with the two of you today, Bodhi and Buddha as Mommy had to work, and indeed spent a good day of her entire day out of town.
We did fine, overall, though at one point today, Buddha, you hit your sister in the head with a wooden toy which caused major havoc—you have been showing occasional inclinations to hit others and that has to be brought under control, that is for sure. You recovered, Bodhi, and were your usual loving self for the entire day.
Brother Ryan and Sister Holly were in town to visit Sister Kelly’s open-house, and they came by to visit us before leaving town. They brought us a gift and said they love our new home, and both were amazed at how much energy the two of you haveJ We talked about their future, and the likelihood that they will be moving far away in the coming year or so, as Ryan anticipates being transferred with his company. He will be going to Columbia soon, and may be going to the Middle East in the future. Daddy is excited to hear of his travels, but admittedly worries about him. Daddy is so very proud of Brother Ryan!
Brother Aaron left one their jeeps for us, so that after Ryan and Holly left, Daddy took the two of you over to Brother Aaron’s and Sister Kelly’s open-house/Kelly's Graduation party. The house looked beautiful, and they had all kinds of goodies, which we three enjoyed (especially Daddy and BuddhaJ). Sister Kelly and Aunt Beth looked after the two of you a good part of the time, with regular assistance from Brother Aaron and Uncle Cory. You both had a blast, but it was evident the two of you were getting tired (neither of you had a very good nap today, especially you Bodhi, and both of you are getting your bad colds again!) so Brother Aaron brought us home and Daddy got the two of you dressed for “night, night.” Buddha, you went down with barely a noise, and Bodhi you insisted on staying up watching your tv program waiting for Mommy to come home.
When Mommy did get home, she carried you to bed, Bodhi, then she was off to clean our old house, as she learned that someone is coming by to look at it tomorrow. It promises to be a late night for Mommy and another full day tomorrow. Whew, it is exhausting! But little time for rest, Santa Claus is coming to townJ
Sleep tight, you baby elves…Santa is watching! J !

Our little buddy gray is kind of a "hitter". It's difficult at this age to control! He loves using various objects as bats or golf clubs, so sometimes its an accident but others its definitely not! I am constantly taking away things he uses to hit with.
