Booger Pickin' Buddha and A Better Bodhi

Buddha there were three places you kept sticking those little chubby white fingers of yours, all day long!... Your nose, the electrical sockets in the walls and down the front of your diaper!  Seriously? And Gross! What baby boy at the age of one, figures out how to remove the childproof safety plugs from the electrical sockets and then manages to turn it into a game... Jude Liam Grills Holsapple aka Buddha, now aka Booger picker, that's who!  Bodhi girl, Momma is so glad that A) you don't pick your nose B) you listen, and C) you don't have a penis!  Mommy realizes every child is different, but man do I not envy the Momma's of multiple boys!  As much as I wouldn't trade you, Buddha, for the world... you are a handful!  You have the cutest personality though, and that keeps Momma and Daddy sane!  You have an ornery little smile and an adorable belly laugh, which you put to good use when those fingers are going places they shouldn't!

Anyway, Bodhi, you had a special pamper day with GiGi, she insisted on taking you in hopes of minimizing Aunt Ti's little ones to being exposed to your crud, and to baby your sick little booty!  GiGi gave you mani, cuddled you, and made you special meals :)  Buddha, after you woke from your afternoon nap, you of course wanted an afternoon snack.  Mommy decided to treat you to a special treat (since Bodhi always gets special treats after you go to bed every night...it was Mommy and Bodhi's little secret).  You saw the Krispie Creme doughnuts that Mommy bought late last night in a moment of weakness, and well, you got your first taste of the deliciousness.  The funny thing is, you wanted a banana afterwards.  Mommy has you two babes trained to love fruit!

Mommy and Daddy had busy days at work, but Mommy managed to get a lot done at home while you napped Buddha, and while you napped at GiGi's Bodhi!  This evening Mommy made you both pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans for supper :)  MMmmmm!  Bodhi, you ate three helpings of mashed potatoes, you are your mother's child when it comes to mashed potatoes.  Buddha, you ate pretty good too.  You were being super stubborn and wouldn't let Mommy help you, so you had a heck of a time getting the food in your mouth.  When Mommy went to get refills on you and your sister's drinks, I returned to discover you had grown so frustrated, Buddha, you threw your plate on the floor and Mr. Arlo and Mr. Murff were going to town.  Mommy also baked an apple pie during nap time, I was looking forward to the smell of sweet apple pie baking throughout the house, only to smell a horrible burning smell!  Particles of last night's dinner had fallen in the bottom of the oven and Mommy didn't see them when I put the pie in.  Our house quickly filled with the smell of burnt tatter tots!

This evening Sister Kelly, Brother Aaron, and Corey aka "Bull" as you, Bodhi, your sister Kelly call him, all came over to assist Daddy with locating some lost files on the computer, and to try and figure out why our bathroom fan no longer works.  Daddy and Brother Aaron were investigating the electrical problem, they didn't figure it out though :(  Buddha, Mommy put you to bed shortly after they arrived.  You were resisting going to bed, and you kept sticking your finger in your nose and laughing hysterically as I rocked you.  Mommy kept saying "ewwwwww!"  You kept laughing.  You then managed to get your finger by Mommy and stuck your little nasty booger finger in Mommy's mouth!  Mommy was gagging and you really got a kick out of that, such a sucker!  Bodhi, Mommy put you to bed after Sister Kelly, Brother Aaron, and "Bull" left.  Mommy laid in on your bed with you and fell asleep for a couple of hours (that's why this blog is so late).  Mommy got her unannounced drop-in visit done early tonight in hopes of getting the blog done early... that obviously didn't pan out.  Mommy and Daddy are happy to report that you Ms. Bodhi are looking and feeling a lot better today :)  Sweet dreams my little munchkins.  Mommy and Daddy loves you both to pieces!

"Messy Dinner Babes"
On a side note... Mommy can't wait to get this dinning room redone!  Mommy picked up some paint swatches today, let the chaos begin!

"Happy Babes"
We're so happy you're feeling better today Bo!

Momma just loves that smile Buddha!

Bodhi, so sweet and yet so ornery too!
