A Day At Home

Bodhi, you told Mommy you were wanting a "Mommy" day yesterday.  Well, today, you got it!  You even got some bonus Daddy, GiGi, and Grandmoo time on top of Mommy time.  Buddha, I love how you screech and run to hug me after your naps or after I've ran an errand, it's like you haven't seen me in ages :)

You both had a really good day today.  Bodhi, you met with Ms. Connie for Speech Therapy and she is having Ms. Heather come next week to assess your progress.  Ms. Connie thinks you are "age appropriate" and even excelled in several areas other than speech :)  If Ms. Heather feels you are "good," you'll be done with speech, YAY!  After our speech appointment, you both were hungry and getting sleepy.  Mommy made you both lunch and Daddy helped feed you two. Mommy started singing to you two, "Bubba was a man who thought he was a woman, get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged, get back Bubba."  Bodhi, you thought this was hysterical!  You were trying to sing it with Momma and after you were done eating, made your own dance up to it.  You were so funny.   Afterwards, Mommy took you upstairs to run around like wild people until it was time for naps.

While you two were napping, Mommy showered, Daddy ran some errands, and then Mommy was off to work.  Buddha, you woke up as soon as I left, so Daddy didn't get any work done :(  GiGi and Grandmoo came over to visit you both and GiGi helped Mommy feed you two dinner.  Mommy again sang  our "Get back Bubba" song, and Bodhi, you went nuts again.  GiGi and Grandmoo were cracking up at you!  Mommy is going to get you on film (I've just got to figure out how to film you without Mommy's singing recorded)  hee/hee

Anyway, Buddha, you went to bed a little earlier tonight.  Your short nap caught up with you this evening.  Bodhi, well, it's 10:27pm and Mommy has put you down three times now.  You keep getting up and coming into our room.  The first time you didn't see Daddy with his head under his pillow, so you decided to go look for Daddy downstairs ha/ha  when Mommy realized you didn't go back to sleep, Mommy went and retrieved you.  You want to stay up and watch cartoons ugggh!  Tomorrow is an Aunt Ti day.  Both Mommy and Daddy are working in the morning, and then Daddy is taking Mommy to Lafayette (for work related stuff) and then we're going to try and get some shopping done.  Santa has requested our help :)

Sweet, sweet dreams sweet babes!

Silly Bodhi girl :)

The only time Mr. Murff attempts our stairs are when Grandmoo is over, Bodhi, you were giving him kisses while Grandmoo was telling him he needed to go back down!
