Meeting With Santa

Today, Bodhi and Buddha, Daddy and Mommy got you off to Aunt Ti, as Mommy had some work to complete this morning and Daddy had a report to finish and take to the college. You both seemed quite happy about going to see Aunt Ti and spending the day there, even though we knew you would get tired early today, Bodhi, because you are getting into the sleep patterns of your Mommy when she was a little girl; you get up very early in the morning and roam around looking for Mommy and/or Daddy!
After getting the two of you to Aunt Ti’s house, Daddy went on to work, as did your Mommy. Then the two of us met back at the house late morning to go to Lafayette as Mommy had some work to do there as well. The trip did give Mommy and Daddy a chance to have a “date,” and to go out to lunch togetherJ. We also met a man who discussed some potential plans for making a dining room table, a prospect which has Mommy really jazzed.
Most important about our trip to Lafayette, however, is that Mommy and Daddy were able to make arrangements to secretly meet in Lafayette with Santa, and get some final details together for Christmas. He was very impressed with both of you, though he did tell us he is keeping a close eye on Buddha because he has noticed Buddha developing a bit of a temper on occasions.
Well, we are sworn to secrecy so we can’t really give much more detail about our meeting with Santa, but we can tell the two of you it looks to be a very happy Christmas for a very special little boy and little girlJ
When we got home, Grandmoo was taking care of Murffee and Arlo, and she seemed to be feeling a little better, which is great news, both Mommy and Daddy have been worried about her. We sure don’t know what we would do without Grandmoo, she does so much for all of us; just wait to you see the finished product of the Bodhi and Buddha Clubhouse and Animal Shelter. Santa, by the way, was very impressed with Grandmoo as wellJ
Santa also told Mommy and Daddy he is keeping an eye on us, too, so we’re going to be sure to be good like our little boy and our little girl. And we’re going to start by getting to bed early tonight! Sweet dreams of sugar plums and elf-made treats, and giant snowflakes, and Ho, Ho, Ho…
Peace on Earth!
Ha!  Mommy just got home from working 9pm-11pm and is now entering Daddy’s entry at 11:30pm.  I will be up for several more hours filling out Christmas cards, early, hu! J

Aunt Ti was so frustrated with Mommy for not sending Daddy with the camera hee/hee When Mommy arrived, you Bodhi, and your brother, were holding hands dancing to Elvis Christmas songs.  Little Lizzie and Andrew were also holding hands dancing as were Aunt Ti and Ellie :)  It was so stinkin' cute and no pictures capturing the moment :(

Buddha, you were so wore out from Aunt Ti's plus additional shopping with Mommy and Daddy, you didn't want to fuss with putting your jammies on :)-
