A house is not a home until…Mommy converts it to her talented interior decorating, personal touch…and the paint gods have summoned herJ Our entry way will soon display a remarkably tasteful, medium-light ____ and the dining room a rich “apple” ____ and…well, you will just have to wait for a photo gallery…but I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.
Today was a full-court press work day for Daddy, who is suffering through finals week (or hell-week as he affectionately calls it…he wonders out loud why finals week should be harder on the professor than the student…hmmm…Anyway, Sister Kelly came by this evening to help Daddy grade some finals (though she confessed, she really just needed a Bodhi and Buddha “fix”…that is true, still Sister Kelly is always helping everyone, especially Daddy. She is a special, special, special person, and the perfect daughter!
Mommy worked her full day as well, though she is showing no signs of fatigue with her home décor spirit raging to get outJ
Daddy called and checked on Aunt Debbie, who is recovering from her gall-bladder surgery, and she is not feeling very well this evening. We all wish we were closer so we could take her some chicken noodle soup and a basket of baby hugs…we love you Aunt Debbie and are thinking of you!
Bodhi and Buddha spent the entire day with Aunt Ti, so one is assured they had fun, and Bodhi you confirmed so when you got home and Daddy asked if you had fun today, and you smiled and pointed at your brother, and shook your head yes and said “Bubba”…you also referred to your brother this evening as “Bubba Buddha.” You are a character, girl!
Buddha, Daddy asked Mommy to give you some medicine tonight at bedtime because you seemed like you were not feeling well, certainly unusually fussy. You touched Daddy’s heart because you wanted Daddy to rock you to sleepJ
Aunt Ti reported you were a poop-butt (literally) today, Buddha, and that you were dropping Buddha poop pebbles out of your diaper onto her floor. Mommy insisted this go into your blog update, Buddha, and Daddy registered his protest for the recordJ
A giant hug out to Uncle Rudy and Uncle Joe for helping dispose of our fence posts, set in cement, and even helping remove the remaining (eyesore) one we hadn’t gotten to yet. Life is about family and friends, or it simply isn’t living its just existing. Don’t ever forget that advice, Bodhi and Buddha, never turn your back on your family and friends, always, always, always look out for each other!!!

We received heartbreaking news this evening from Uncle Terry, Uncle Charlie, and Uncle Rudy…Uncle Hawk’s son died this evening, unexpectedly, tragically. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. Truly, love and meditation is our only meaningful response to the inexorable pain of a beloved friend. We love you Hawk and we are so saddened by your loss. Find peace in the true goodness of your soul, and the love of your friends.
