Santa Clause Meltdown

Well, we had big plans but it feels like very little got accomplished.  This morning Mommy got you two up, fed, and dressed.  We then played in both Bodhi's and Buddha's rooms.  When Mommy was downstairs making breakfast, you, Bodhi, opened your door and therefore your brother escaped.  Mommy heard you two running and giggling, and I got really scared.  I went running and found you, Jude, standing at the top of the stairs laughing.  Mommy about had a heart attack.  Our Christmas cards have been calling and Mommy hadn't done any work or thinking on what to do this year.  So, Mommy got you both dressed in your Christmas outfits and snapped some shots.  I have a few cute ones, but nothing I'm thrilled about.  After you two went down for your naps, I got Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo dressed up.  They are old pros!  It took all of twenty minutes to get them dressed, situated, and snap some shots.  They are so easy... everyone marvels about how I get them to pose.  Truth be told, we just have an understanding that once a year they'll have to get dressed up, and it's a cinch!

Mommy quickly realized while taking Mr. Murff's and Mr. Arlo's photos, I have yet to take you two to see Santa :(  It was a tradition that GiGi and Grandmoo accompany us, however, Grandmoo was working on the Rescue house and hadn't got cleaned up, so I didn't even bother calling GiGi, that wouldn't have been very fair.  So, after your naps, and multi-tasking dinner, work, and grocery shopping, Mommy got you dressed and took you both to the mall by myself.  Daddy was busy working so he didn't get to go.  Bodhi, you were so excited and you were dancing in line and everything.  Buddha, you held tight to Momma!  When it was our turn, it was like the scene out of the Christmas Story!!  Buddha, you started screaming and then Bodhi you started crying and reaching your arms out.  $20 dollars and I have a picture of you two screaming, ugggh!  That's what I get for not waiting and taking Grandmoo and GiGi!  I don't know that it would have made a difference for you, Buddha, but Bo, you might have survived it.  Last year you LOVED Santa.  Oh well!  Lesson learned.  Now Mommy is going to work on creating this year's Christmas card.  I really hope I got some good shots!  Sweet dreams my little munchkins.

PS  Since Mommy has yet to make this year's Christmas card... I'm not including all of the photos from today.  I don't want to ruin the surprise.  However, I will add all the pictures once I have decided which ones I'm going to use.

At the Markland Mall waiting to see Santa... your expressions about sums it up!

"Look Bubba, it's not that bad... those girls look like they're having fun!"
A little distraction after the Santa experience.  Buddha, you screamed like a mad man when the ride was over, uggggh!

Driving that police car :)-
