Jingle Bells

Daddy woke up early and swore he heard jingle bells over the house, and when I got to the window to look out into the morning darkness, I couldn’t really tell what was out there, but I am sure I heard in the distance “Ho, ho, ho,” leading me to conclude that Santa was making a practice run…
Today started early with juice, as usual, and getting the two of you dressed, Mommy got off to work, and GiGi came by to watch you, Bodhi, while Daddy took Buddha to the doctor’s office. You screeched when you saw GiGi’s car pull into the drive, Bodhi, and you began screaming her name in delight as she came through the back doorJ
Buddha, Daddy escorted you to the doctor’s office for your wellness check-up and for a single immunization shotL (you didn’t much like that, but you recovered quicklyJ), where Dr. Zentz affirmed his belief you will be at least 6’1” tall (and handsomeJ), and said you are definitely teething in full force, as your mouth is swollen; he also observed that the tube in your left ear is showing some sign of coming out, perhaps, and he is hopeful it will stay in through the winter. He wants us to regularly use an expensive lotion on you as you are a fair-haired, light skin “hulk” with dry skin!
When we got home, Buddha, GiGi helped you and Bodhi with lunch, then Mommy stopped by to check on everyone before you both went down for your nap. By late afternoon, Daddy had to go in to work as a substitute for a facilitator in our domestic violence intervention program and didn’t get home until 9 p.m.
Mommy reported to Daddy that Grandpa Kurt came by and both of you played with him and had a blast.
Mommy also reported to Daddy that you prayed by yourself before dinner tonight, Bodhi (which we think is something you have learned by watching Ellie) which we celebrate as we want both you and your brother to be spiritual beings with faith and hope in your lives, along with joy and happiness.
Tomorrow Daddy has a doctor’s appointment, and so he gets to watch Mommy enjoy a late night snack without being able to share in the fun because he has to “fast” for some blood tests. He also hopes to find an answer for his incredibly swollen right knee (ouch!!!).
Rest peacefully you little doll-babies, and try not to stay awake listening for those jingle-bells…

Playing with Grandpa Kurt :)

Grandpa Kurt even played jewalry dress-up with you Bodhi :)  Your favorite!

Grandpa Kurt gave several airplane rides... Mommy had to jump in and give a few to allow Grandpa Kurt to take a break hee/hee
