Spring Cleaning , Projects, & Exercise :)

Mommy discovered, thankfully I had enough energy to check my email before bed after cleaning our house late night, that Mommy's visit for today was cancelled.  Mommy had volunteered to fill in for a co-worker, but turns out the parent's had to cancel the visit.  This turned out to be a major relief for Momma.  Mommy had scheduled to get our carpets cleaned and I was going to be cutting it close.

Mommy got up once the two of you awakened and after Daddy announced he was off to work.  Mommy gave you both yogurt and cereal for breakfast.  Mommy got the doggies fed, medicated, and let out to go potty, before locking them in the utility room as a precaution to avoid a lawsuit from Ms. Allie biting a carpet cleaner guy, or Mr. Arlo humping a carpet cleaner guy's leg ha/ha.  Kokomo Karpet Kleaners (which I hate their name btw) were scheduled to show between 10am and 12pm.  They didn't show until 1:30 p.m., but it was well worth the wait once they finished.  They were a middle-aged Hispanic man and an old white man...the same two workers/owners that have been cleaning carpets for the at least the past 15 years ha/ha  and they do an excellent job and charge next to nothing!  The old white man ha/ha hardly did any cleaning.  He was amazed with our home, and wanted to discuss every room's decor in great detail ha/ha  He LOVED our home,  and told Mommy I should be an interior decorater ha/ha!  He and his wife own an older home as well, so he appreciated all the wood work and all the detail that newer homes lack. They were both kind people, they even cleaned three extra rugs for Mommy without Mommy asking :)  Our carpets look BRAND NEW, I couldn't be happier.  Our white carpet up the stairs and down the hallway are now stain free and actually white YAY!  You both were a hoot, hiding and watching them clean with their big long hoses :)  You both were disappointed when they were done, I think you two would have been satisfied watching them all day :)

After our carpets were cleaned, Mommy took you two to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's.  They had volunteered to watch you both an extra day this week so that Mommy could cover for a co-worker.  Mommy had called GiGi first thing this morning to let her know that Mommy's work was cancelled, but she insisted that she get her hands on the two of you for a few hours since she had a big chicken noodle dinner planned for you both :)  After dropping you off for a fun-filled three hours with GiGi and Gi-Pa, Mommy headed to Aunt Dianna's.  We are motivated to get in shape and have agreed to walk together everyday.  Mommy needed an update on their ten day vacation anyway.  We walked for an hour, through Forrest Park and throughout our beautiful neighborhood, comparing our notes on houses when we were both looking to buy our current homes and Mommy got the details of Aunt Dianna's vacation :)  Aunt Dianna loves decorating and old houses too so it didn't feel like exercise to Mommy.  Aunt Dianna's family is fighting the same flu bug we had uggggh, so she wasn't feeling all that great, but we made it!

You both were playing out front of GiGi's when Mommy arrived.  You, Mr. Buddha screamed at Mommy, "No No Mom!"  Mommy chased after you and you changed your tune, you were giggling and full of it...which is your normal evening self.  Bodhi, you were exhausted.  Mommy packed leftovers for Mommy and Daddy's dinner (thank you GiGi) and the two of you into our car.  Bodhi, you passed out immediately and Jude, you stayed awake talking to Mommy the entire car ride home :)  Buddha, you went to bed no problem, as did you Bodhi, however you awakened refreshed and roaring to go Bodhi.  Sister Kelly, Brother Aaron, and Sean Franky came by to help carry a table to our basement, and install another door off of our dining room.  The previous owners had removed several doors and placed them in the basement, and well, Daddy thought they needed to be hung back up.  Mommy didn't care either way, but I have to admit, I do like it much better.  Good call Daddy!  Bodhi, you have a 6th sense when Sister Kelly is over and you came down the stairs to visit.  We have now battled getting you back to bed.  You've had a piece of cheese, fruit snacks, water, and then the thunder started, uggggh!  Daddy is now laying with you.

Mommy did manage to get some grass seed put out in our bare spots, as well as some straw to cover it before in between the downpour of the rain :)  We should have fresh grass in a few days.

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!
