Busy Bodies- Buddha & Bodhi

Wow!  When Mommy finally awakened this morning (after going to bed at 2am-working on end of the month reports for work/first of the month bills for us, and cleaning) I had no idea just how busy our day was going to be!!! First, you Mr. Jude had stacked up some chairs trying to reach the top of our 8-9 foot armoire where your Easter basket was located (you've been sanctioned from your candy, sugar affects you like I have never seen in any other child before). Mommy got you two fed breakfast, fed the dogs, unloaded the dish washer, started laundry, and then I hopped in the shower.  Mommy got ready and then got the two of you dressed and we were off to the races.  We stopped to let Jasper out to go potty and then dropped a bag of clothes off at the Mission.  We then headed to GiGi's to drop off some clothes to be ironed (she spoils Mommy by ironing your guy's good clothes :)  After stopping to say hi to GiGi, we then headed to Lucas Home Furnishings to visit with Aunt Kathy and Aunt Nettie, as Mommy had previously promised.  Mommy submitted her fabric picks for some new couch cushions and you two had a blast visiting, especially you, Ms. Bodhi.  You were in heaven.  Aunt Kathy and Aunt Netties are "girly girls" through and through, just like you.  They gave you all kinds of attention and you LOVED every minute of it!  You told them that you liked them both, held their hands, and by the time we were leaving, you told them that you loved them ha/ha (just like some of my CHINS kids do...which probably isn't a good thing ha!)  Jude, you listened and watched while permanently fixing yourself to Mommy's hip.  You eventually warmed up, and when you did, you went crazy jumping all over Aunt Kathy and Aunt Nettie!

From Lucas we headed to the park, only to turn around to get Mommy's sunglasses I left behind.  Mommy got you two out of the car and you both decided that it was too cold to play at the park and asked to play at McDonald's play place.  Mommy drove to McDonalds where you two played your little hearts out.  We returned home to pick up a receipt for our renter, and then we headed to the dry cleaners (Hello Mrs. Hale...we love our Mrs. Hale), dropped off our recyclables, and then went to retrieve Daddy's cell phone from work for him.  You two got to see Sister Kelly.  You both told Daddy that you were going to ask Sister Kelly if you guys could have a sleepover with her and Brother Aaron :)

After saying goodbye to Sister Kelly, we headed to our old house on Leeds Street to pick up rent money :)  You two begged Mommy to take you to the park again, and so Mommy agreed.  We first went and picked up Jasper, Aunt Dianna's doggy, and then we headed to the park.  Mommy got distracted with Jasper and you, Jude took advantage big time.  You climbed clear to the top of the big red slide at Foster Park before Mommy noticed!!!  You freaked your Momma out big time. I'm ok with large slides, but this was by far the biggest you have ever went down, and you have never went down it by yourself, Sister Bodhi has never went down it either! You both went down the slide again and again.  Well, Bodhi, you went down once only to climb up to the top and decide you didn't "couldn't" go down.  You had a major meltdown and well, that's what happens when you don't nap.  Jude, you went down a few more times and then we packed it up.  Mommy was debating whether to take Jasper home with us, or return him to his house.  He doesn't seem quite comfortable at our house with Allie and Arlo.  You two then asked if you could take Jasper for a walk.  Mommy thought that was an excellent idea, so we were off once again.  You two took turns holding onto Jasper's leash.  Unfortunately, you both lost hold of the leash and off Jasper went.  However, he came back to us pretty quickly, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Mommy brought you both home and you, Buddha, asked to play in our backyard.  Mommy agreed and scooped pooped and picked up while you two played in the sandbox.  Mommy even managed to get the kitties fed their dinner while you two "made coffee in your coffee factory."  You both crack me up!  Mommy loves your imagination!

Once inside, you, Bodhi, asked to play with play-doh.  Mommy once again agreed.  You two have gotten everything you asked for today :)  Everyone needs one of those days every once in a while :)  Mommy started cleaning while you both played and created animals with your play-doh :)

Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped by to visit.  You both were super excited to see them again :)  Once Daddy arrived home from work, Mommy asked if he minded (since just having got off work) if I ran and indulged in a greatly needed pedicure.  We are after all going swimming, Mommy hasn't done anything with her toes since last summer ha/ha.  Daddy agreed and sent Mommy off for a little last minute, late night pampering, thank you Lord!!!  Mommy new it would be a very short time before you two passed out from your exhausting- long-super spectacular day ha/ha!  Sure enough, Daddy reported lights out and well, both of your lights were out!  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!  I sure hope you both enjoyed your day, you both got to do everything you asked to do :)

Bodhi quickly made some new best friends :)

Aunt Kathy, Bodhi girl, and Aunt Nettie :)  You were in heaven!

Aunt Kathy and Aunt Nettie adored you, little Ms. Bodhi :)  Buddha, they tired adoring you, but you took some time before warming up hee/hee

You eventually made some new best friends too :)

Bodhi, when Mommy was walking you back to the car you said, "Mommy they are so nice, I really like them Mommy!" :)

At the park with Jasper :)

Daddy would have freaked, and will freak when he sees this!  Aunt Nettie was asking if you go down the big slides by yourself before we left Lucas...well, you do, but never this one!!!!  You were obviously listening to our conversation because you wasted no time before conquering this slide ha/ha

Bodhi, you decided to be brave too :)

Play-doh :)
