Family Time

You two slept late again this morning, woohoo!  Now when I say "slept late"  I mean like 9am and not 7:30 a.m. :)  We had a big day a head of us so we needed that extra rest.  Daddy had to work his usual two Saturday morning early hours, it's a good thing he goes to bed early hee/hee  Mommy got you two up and gave you your morning coffee (apple juice) and Mommy had a hot cup of coffee herself.  Daddy came home from work and decided to mow our other yard, so Mommy got cleaned up and got you two dressed.  When Daddy arrived home he took a quick shower and then we headed to lunch at Coney Island.  From Coney Island we all headed to little Ava Federspill's 4th birthday party at the Kokomo Sports Center.  You two went without a nap, and actually did very well.  You two ran around the gym with Mommy and Daddy playing ball and making crafts.  By the way, Daddy was shocked when Mommy made a half court shot ha/ha!  We spent two hours at Ava's party, playing, crafting, eating, and watching little Ava open all her gifts :) Mommy and Daddy were exhausted afterwards, but you two weren't ha/ha.  We tried to get you two to settle in for a little evening nap, but that wasn't going to happen, so Mommy took you outside to play some more.

Mommy got busy scooping poop and raking leaves in preparation for our family pictures scheduled for tomorrow, but you two kept wanting Mommy to swing you.  So Daddy had to sacrifice watching college football and join us outside to play.  Daddy pushed you both on the swing while Mommy continued to rake.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped by to see both of you and your new do's :)  You two were jumping in Mommy's leaf pile out front having a ball when they arrived.  It was getting dark and Mommy was trying to get all the leaves raked, which I managed, but without light.  Daddy, Sister Kelly, and Brother Aaron took you two inside and started the movie "Snow White."  Mommy joined in after caring for the kitties.  We all sat and watched the movie together, you both quickly falling to sleep.  Daddy crashed but Mommy decided since I didn't have to get up early to stay up working on my craft room.  I've made a ton of progress on it in the past week and it might actually get done by our open house (fingers crossed).

Nighty night my sweet sweet babes.  We have another big day ahead of us tomorrow... family pictures :) with Ms. Amy Little!

Mommy forgot her camera but Daddy had to run home to take his medicine, so he brought Mommy my camera just in time to capture the "no nap babes" at their finest ha/ha

Nothing like some cake to smooth over a sleepy boy :)
