Mr. Buddha, you slept in until 10am, holy moly! Bodhi and I were cuddling, talking, and giggling. Bodhi, you are the sweetest little morning "thang." Once you awakened, Jude, we immediately went outside to get some fresh fall air and sunshine on our faces. Mommy had some projects in mind, but when I opened my can of Polyurethane, it was dried up, so Mommy's projects were cancelled :0 You two ran around the yard, rolling in the leaves, so Mommy decided to rake you guys a leaf pile. Mommy raked all the side yard leaves to the front and made a giant pile for you two to play in. Jude, you of course found a pile of dog poo that Mommy missed (it's easy to miss with all the leaves, none of which are from our pine trees ha/ha we have a ton of leaves from our neighbors) and you had poo all over your sweatshirt. Bodhi and I gagged and laughed! Ms. Susan walked down to visit, bringing us goodies of course. She loves to spoil us, coloring pages for you two, and a really awesome vintage hand painted letter "H" for Mommy :) Ms. Susan goes to a lot of auctions, and she knew Mommy would love the "H" and I did!
You two, minus Jude's sweatshirt, continued to play as Mommy raked a ton of leaves to the road. Mommy had perfect timing, the street department were collecting everyone's leaves, so despite the heavy winds, Mommy leaves were raked and hauled away without them blowing back in our yard :) When the street department's trucks pulled up, Ms. Allie decided she was going to attack the tires, ugggh! Mommy ran after Ms. Allie with a rake, herding her onto the porch, then herding you two up to the porch steps, and Mr. Arlo just sat and watched from the front step as Mommy tried to get everyone a safe distance away ha/ha You two thought it was so cool when they "vacuumed" our leaves, that's what you called it Bodhi :) After the street department excitement, we played a while longer, swinging and playing on the slide. Mommy then took you inside and fed you a late lunch. You two went down for a nap around 2pm and slept forever. When you two finally awakened, Mommy got busy making fried potatoes, hamburgers, and green beans. You two were running around the house chasing Ms. Allie when Grandpa arrived. He couldn't believe how hyper you both were ha/ha Grandpa stayed and helped get you two fed, and then visited and talked politics...always interesting! You two get a little nervous when Grandpa and Mommy talk politics, but you two are getting use to it ha/ha
After dinner, politics and play time with Grandpa, Mommy took you two upstairs for a bath. Mommy let you play, but not for the usual hour... the Presidential debate was getting ready to start so we had to get settled. Daddy came home and ate, and then we all gathered in Mommy's and Daddy's room to watch the debate. You two were still hyper and not wanting to go to bed. Daddy did his best to get each of you settled in our bed, but it just wasn't happening. So, you both were allowed to play for a while and then off to dreamland you went. :) Nighty night my sweet angels. Mommy totally goofed and missed some awesome photo opportunities of you two playing in the leaves today :(
