Family Picture Sunday

Today was our day scheduled by Mommy with her friend and photographer, Amy, to have our family picture taken, so there was much excitement in the air and much anxiety for Daddy. Daddy gets anxious about such things and his medicine regimen of steroids and nerve targeting pain formula seems to aggravate the level of anxiety.

No matter, our day began with a customary morning breakfast from Chef Daddy consisting of fried eggs and toast with blueberry jelly, and apple juice. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a usual cup of coffee and Mommy had toast and butter and honey, because Mommy has developed a late-onset allergy to eggsL.

After breakfast we all played and watched our morning news programs, with the elections coming on soon, Mommy and Daddy are particularly taking in the many news analysis programs. Both of you, Bodhi and Buddha, were quite willing to play while Mommy and Daddy watched our shows for a change. During our play time and news watching, Mommy carefully planned and coordinated what each of us would wear for our family picture. Mommy texted Sister Kelly and asked she and Brother Aaron join us, but Sister Kelly explained she didn’t have enough lead time to make it over. We will carefully plan our next year photo shoot to include them and hopefully Brother Ryan and Sister Holly can join us. Brother Sean Franky did in fact plan to join us, and assured Mommy he would be over in the afternoon.

At noontime, Daddy made macaroni and cheese and bread and butter and each of you were treated to our special celebration family picture day drink, chocolate milkJ! After lunch, both of you were down for your naps and Mommy and Daddy had a little free time, so Mommy continued to work on picture preparation and Daddy watched some of the afternoon football game before joining the two of you for a short napJ.

By early evening, Brother Sean joined us and shortly after 5 p.m. Amy and her daughter Destiny arrived to begin our photo shoot. Both Amy and Destiny expressed how much they loved our house and Mommy’s decorating/décor touch, Destiny even asked somewhat in amazement if this wasn't formerly the home of the Sanborn’s. Destiny expressed the house makeover was impressive!

We began our photo shoot in the backyard, then moved to the front porch, and continued to the grounds of the Seiberling Mansion, returning home to take some pictures of the two of you, Princess Bodhi and Prince Buddha in Mommy’s Alice in Wonderland inspired dining room. Amy took many, many, many pictures and multiple combinations of all of us, we are certain to be pleased with the shots and now have to await her posting them on a web site so we can see her good worksJ! As usual with a Mommy planned event, things went according to plan and schedule, and we are no doubt in for some magnificent family photos soon!!!

We promised the two of you a special treat of going to McDonald’s for dinner, where you could both play on the whimsical indoor playground, and oh my, did the two of you have a blast! Sean Franky said he was treating himself to a steak dinner and declined our invitation to buy him McDonaldsJ. Mommy and Daddy wondered if you hadn’t climbed the playground tree to the top, Buddha, and puffed on some magic plant to transform you into a little Fairy Prince, as you shuffled your way around in the playground oblivious to all around you. And we were absolutely convinced you had ingested some magic mushrooms, Princess Bodhi, as you kept prancing around like a ballerina frequently declaring there was an “emergency” and pretending to catch falling babies and kittens and puppies from the tree top, and bringing them to Mommy for safekeeping and informing her of the food stuffs we would need to get to feed our growing familyJ. Wow, the two of you are hoots!!!

After much play and imagination, Mommy and Daddy became exhausted, though the two of you could have gone on and on, and we made our way home to our beautiful and loving home and where we all found our way to “night, night.” Love, love, love.

At McDonalds, as promised :)-

You and your sister are the cutest most unique little ones!  Mommy and Daddy love to watch you two in amazement... giggling non-stop :)
