Red Cheeked Babies

Today was HOT HOT HOT!  Bodhi, Daddy took you with him to work to drop off some papers and visit with all the ladies :)  You love your Daddy trips to the school.  Daddy even stopped and got you a Happy Meal with a hamburger and apple slices, which we all know how you feel about food... you were happy about your happy meal ;)  Jude, you stayed home with Mommy and got to eat your breakfast in peace.   You and your sister take your meals so seriously hee/hee

While you both napped today, Mommy started a little craft project.  Mommy figured out a way to tie in the bright white washer and dryer into our black and white utility room... I cut black polka-dots and flowers out of wall stickers to place on the front of them.  I didn't get the project finished because you two woke up from your naps.  Jude, you of course woke up first, and Bodhi, you followed shortly after.  Aunt Jane called and asked if we wanted to meet her at the park today after nap time.  So, Mommy packed you both up and walked to Foster Park.  Aunt Jane's daughter, Sarah, also met us there.  She stayed long enough to take you, Bodhi, down the slide once, but then she had to leave for work.  Aunt Jane however, stayed and played with us for about an hour and half.  You were both so hot and red faced, but Bodhi, you loved every minute of it!  There was another little boy at the park named Jude, he was two years old.  He was there playing with his grandma.  Mommy made the mistake of asking him if he wanted some crackers, Mommy felt like she should ask if he wanted any since he walked up to our blanket when you both were eating.  Stranger Jude ended up eating all of your crackers, Bodhi.  Surprisingly, you didn't seem to mind though :)  His Grandma gave me a 25 year old cannon camera, Mommy was five years old when the lady bought the camera.  She saw Mommy's camera and asked if I wanted hers, she had it in the car and was going to drop it off at the the Good Will store but had second thoughts about donating it to just anyone.  Mommy accepted and thanked her!  Mommy really liked the camera case, it's very vintage :)  The camera even had the instruction booklet with it!  Such a neat gift!

On our way home, Sister Kelly, was looking for us.  She drove by and pointed for us to get home right away, she wanted to see you both hee/hee  Jude, you cried the whole way home.  After returning home, Sister Kelly played with you, Bodhi, outside for a few minutes and then brought you inside and fed you dinner. Bodhi, you kept pointing to your brother's highchair and Sister Kelly asked if you wanted Jude to eat with you.  You shook your head yes.  So Mommy put Jude in his highchair next to you and he ate dinner with you (he had actually just ate some fruit at the park, but he ate again).    Mommy swept the stairs and put clothes away while Sister Kelly fed you both.  Sister Kelly got you, Bodhi, to say "Oreo, hi, and Bo Bo!"  You repeated each word once, but then wouldn't say them again.

Mommy gave you both a bath together tonight, you two were sweaty dirty!  You both are the sweetest in the bath together.  Bodhi, you LOVE when your brother takes a bath with you.  You just watch him and smile.  He splashes you and chews on his rubber ducky and you dunk your head and giggle.  You've also developed the habit of drinking your bath water, Uggggh!  Jude, Mommy has the hardest time keeping you sat down in the tub.  You want to stand up against the ledge and suck on the porcelain. You are so unbelievably strong!  You manage to keep your balance despite your sister swimming and making waves.  You are a little Hercules.
