A Mellow Brick Road...: The Big Girl Potty and Red Cheeks

You both woke up bright an early at 7am! Jude, you woke up at like 6am, but Mommy can usually nurse you for an extra hour of sleep :) Daddy spent the whole day away, he took the car to Westfield to be worked on, so it was back to just Mommy and you babes, and well, the fuzzies too of course. Bodhi, you fought your nap big time today, and that's after you fell asleep in the glider in your room. It was as if when Mommy put you in your crib, you suddenly had a burst of energy. Jude, Mommy has learned the trick and position to nurse you and get you in your crib without you waking :) I tuck a blanket under your head as I'm nursing you, so when I put you in your crib it feels exactly the same, so there's not the big difference, going from a soft bed to a hard crib! However, you didn't nap long. You pooped in your sleep and this woke you :( Mommy did manage to get Aunt Holly's wedding pictures transferred to six separate discs while you both napped though!

This evening, GiGi was jonesing to see you both, so she came over. Bodhi, you were asleep when GiGi first arrived, so Jude, you got some quality time with GiGi! Jude, Mommy took advantage of the time we had together while Bodhi was napping and before GiGi arrived, and took some pictures of you... to try to make up for those days that Mommy doesn't have many pictures of you. Your face was looking better, however, after you nurse it looks real bad... and of course the time we had was right after you nursed :( You are still a doll! Sean Franky came over again tonight too. He ate dinner with us and watched a movie with you, Bodhi, and Daddy. Mommy finished laminating all the newspaper pictures of you, Bodhi, Jude, and the fuzzies. Mommy is going to send them out to family once I get the family pictures ordered :) Bodhi, this evening you told Momma by way of pointing that you had to go poo. Mommy asked you if you wanted to go on the big girl potty, and you ran to the bathroom, got your seat out of the closet, and started screeching hee/hee You sat there and grunted but you didn't go potty. Mommy was proud of you though. You even flushed when Mommy took you off. A short time later you ended up going in your diaper... Mommy thinks you got tired of waiting hee/hee Bodhi, you stayed up a couple of hours pass your bedtime, and you did not want to go to bed tonight. However, Mommy managed to get you down without too much of a fight :) Jude, Mommy has our routine down now... you went right to sleep :)
