Popsicles, Unfamiliar Bubbles, and Playtime with Franky

Ms. Connie came at 9am this morning to work with you, Bodhi, on your speech.  You were very excited to see Ms. Connie!  Mommy had to get the house cleaned up last night (it was a wreck) so Ms. Connie didn't have to call CPS on us hee/hee.  Of course, Daddy manages to get up and make a mess before Mommy wakes, so Mommy had to re-clean and get you both dressed instead of showering before Ms. Connie arrived,  uggggh!  Needless to say, Mommy was not happy.  I always try real hard to make sure that Mommy's frustration doesn't reflect during my time with you both though.  Bodhi, you copied a few new signs during your session.  You also said "Mommy," "Daddy," and "bowl,"when Mommy asked you to repeat.  These aren't new words, however, you weren't wanting to work on speech when Ms. Connie first arrived, so this got you started :)

On a positive note... you both napped today!  YAY!  Jude, you woke up about an hour and half into your nap, but Daddy went upstairs to nap with you so you would sleep a little longer, and so Mommy could eat and shower.  After the three of you woke from your naps, Sister Kelly stopped by to see you both, Bodhi and Jude.  Mommy took you, Jude, to get you some baby food and other items we needed from Target.   Daddy stayed here with you, Bodhi.  Jude, you were an absolute angel.  You love looking at all the people in the stores :)  When we returned, Bodhi, you kept pointing at Jude, as Mommy carried him in the house.  You weren't upset, you just thought for some strange reason, it was so funny that Bubby went with Mommy to the store.  Daddy had to work a couple of hours this evening, so Mommy and Sister Kelly took you both outside to eat a Popsicle, neither of you had ever had a Popsicle before.  You both loved them. Jude, though you can't figure out how to use a sippie cup, you managed to eat your Popsicle all by yourself :)  After Sister Kelly left, Mommy fed you both and was in the middle of giving you both a bath when Sean Franky stopped by.  Jude, you were in such a good mood after your bath!  Sean Franky arrived just in time to hold you, saving you from going to the bouncy seat, while Mommy finished up with Bodhi.  Sean Franky enjoyed his time playing with you both, as you both were exceptionally happy babes... must have been that nap :)  While Sean Franky played with you both Mommy gave Mr. Arlo a bath, baked a rum cake, and started dinner.  Mommy and Sean Franky tried lifting Mr. Murff into the tub since he can't manage to get in the tub because of his bad hips, but Mr. Murff wasn't having it!   Mommy had to give Mr. Murff a "whore bath."  Now, you both will be adults when you read this blog, so, I'm certain you'll understand what exactly Mommy is referring to :)  Poor Mr. Murff, he used to love his baths!

Tonight, Jude, you went down without a "trial run."  No crying, no fussing, you just whimpered as Mommy put you in your crib and then you passed out.  Bodhi, you also went down without a struggle tonight :)  It was so nice, Mommy will never take for granted you guys going to bed so easily, not after this past week of hell!

It took you a minute to figure out how to get the rest of the Popsicle up from the bottom :)

Juders, you love bathtime and your rubber ducky... you kept making bubbles in the tub tonight hee/hee Sissy thought you were so funny!

"How do you make those bubbles Bubby?"

"Sean Franky, Buddha just spit up everywhere... EWWWW!"
"First bubbles now puke, Bubby you are ALL BOY!"

Sweet Baby Boy!

"Yeah, that's right... my future's so bright, I've gotta wear shades!"
