Go Team Mommy & Daddy

Mommy and Daddy were on it today.  Mommy is finally starting to enjoy having Daddy home with us hee/hee.  We tag teamed you two munchkins like old pro's!  It all started this morning when Mommy awakened in a panic state.  Yep, I fell asleep nursing you, Jude, and didn't get my cleaning done!  Our house was dirty, not so much clutter, just straight dirty floors, dirty dishes, dirty laundry, etc... Daddy jumped in and helped Mommy and we got the house clean in time for Ms. Connie to arrive for your Speech Therapy appointment, Bodhi (in record time I might add).  While I finished cleaning, Daddy jumped in the shower and participated in the Speech Therapy with you, Bodhi, while Mommy got a shower.  It was so nice getting a shower before noon!  Bodhi, you repeated two words Ms. Connie asked you to say, YAY!   You also continued to sign on your own as well :)

This afternoon, Mommy was trying to re-organize your closets, so Daddy took you both for an hour wagon ride while Mommy finished it up.  Once you guys returned, Mommy fed you lunch while Daddy checked in on his summer work.  Then it was nap time.  Daddy got to take a nap, and Mommy got to work on editing and organizing blog pictures :)  Something that has been needed to be done, but I haven't found time to do!  Jude, you woke before your sister of course.  Mommy went upstairs got you out of your crib and was changing your diaper when I told you "I love you!"  You smiled and giggled, so I kept repeating "I love you," to you.  You then repeated to Mommy "Ahhhh Wubb ooou!"  I promise, you said it several times, clear as day.  You are going to be talking in sentences before Bodhi is saying ten words.   Mommy took you to Krogers while your sister slept so we could pick up some groceries for Grandmoo.  She was in bad shape today, she could hardly walk and was feeling horrible :(  Jude, Mommy put you in the "car" cart.  You were so unbelievably cute!  You rode "dirty," one hand on the steering wheel, slumped back, and the other arm resting on the back rest hee/hee You also honked the horn a few times.  Mommy took your picture when we were loading up the car :)  I can't wait to take Bodhi with us, so you both can ride together in the "car" cart, that will be so funny to watch the two of you together.

After we returned from the store, Daddy had to go to work, and Sister Kelly stopped by to visit.  Mommy thought since it was so windy out today, it would a perfect opportunity to try out the kite I bought several months ago.  It was a hoot!  I got tangled, Bodhi, you got tangled, Mr. Murff got tangled, everyone got tangled in the string.  Since it looked as though it was going to storm, we were trying to fly the kite on our street, avoiding cars and power lines.  Bodhi, you loved running and watching the few times we go it partly in the air.  We'll have to try it in the field when it's not going to rain!

This evening, Bodhi, you stayed up a little later than usual with Mommy and Daddy.  It worked out great because Grandpa Kurt stopped by.  So, you got to visit with Grandpa Kurt while Mommy and Daddy finished our dinner.  However, you decided it was time for you to go to bed when Grandpa Kurt was still visiting.  You walked over to the stairs, which were blocked with a gate, and pointed up.  Mommy took you and brushed your teeth and then off to bed you went!  Jude, you went down prior to Grandpa Kurt arriving, and you went down without a fight.  Mommy LOVES nights when you are ok with sleeping in your own bed.  Otherwise, you stand up and cry, then you aren't covered, and if I go in to cover you up, you wake up immediately :(  So, tonight was a good night, and a perfect ending to a great day.

Bodhi and Buddha going on a morning wagon ride with the Daddy :)

Look at the smirk on your face Bodhi hee/hee

Juders in the "car" cart at Krogers :)  You were so adorable!

"Look Momma, I'm driving both!"

Trying to get the dang Kite in the air without touching a power line!

Bodhi, you got tangled first! :0

Then Mommy got tangled...

And of course...  Mr. Murff got tangled!  We were a tangled mess!

Who says Mr. Arlo is "slow?"  Mr. Arlo managed to avoid getting tangled, he watched from a safe distance :)-

Sister Kelly and the Buddha... a rare sight!  She's a loyal Bodhi fan!

Bodhi, you planted flower seeds when we went to IUK with the Federspills.  You are obsessed with putting your finger in the dirt! I think, you think, no one noticed you!

Bodhi, eating the dirt!  I think you've been watching your brother too closely!  You use to never put stuff in your mouth :)-

Pretty Buddha in Blue ;)

AND... he's off!

Juders you pulled the puzzle off the second shelf... your sister said "ot oooh" when it crashed to the ground ;)

Grandpa Kurt reading Bodhi a book... you gave Grandpa Kurt a big wet kiss goodbye, but Mommy's camera wasn't quick enough :(
