Off to a Good Start

Today was a good start to Momma's and Buddha's birthday weekend :)

Bodhi and Jude, Aunt Ti reported that you too were two totally different babes this morning, but in a good way.  Aunt Ti said your personality is really starting to show Bodhi girl.  You two would look at each other, chase one another, and tackle each other to the ground and laugh. Bodhi, you even initiated hugs and kisses with Lizzie and your brother.  Aunt Ti couldn't believe it!  She said she saw a totally different side of you today.  Aunt Ti also reported that you two were a handful!  You both were into everything and ran her ragged around the house.  :) 

After naps, Mommy and Daddy decided that we would take a quick road trip to Carmel, to one of Mommy's and Daddy's favorite stores, World Market.  It was a little present to Mommy for her "birthday weekend."  You two enjoyed a happy meal with milk and apple slices on the way to the store, and Jude you talked to Grandmoo on the phone forever!  You both became a little fussy after being the store for 45 minutes, but we didn't plan on staying long anyway, and we were on our way back home.  Juder's, Mommy forgot to mention yesterday, you picked up your sister's sippie of milk and tried it :)  Since you are one Mommy is starting to phase you off the boob and onto animal milk :)  When you first tried it, you let it fall out of your mouth, but then you quickly took another swig and liked it!  It was a good start.  Tonight, you drank milk with your dinner... you liked it once again, but you didn't drink very much.  Mommy tried to give you a sippie with warm milk at bedtime, but you weren't having it and you started clawing at Mommy's shirt :(  After about 10 minutes of fighting you, Mommy gave in.  Oh boy, this is not going to be fun!
