This morning started out as it always does; diaper changing, feeding, and getting dressed. However, Mommy opted to get the stroller out and take yout two for a morning walk. It was so nice and cool out, Mommy had to actually bundle you two up with hats and blankets. As we were walking out the door, GiGi and Gi-Pa showed up with a surprise for you both... a slide GiGi picked up at a rummage sale this morning during her walk. So, you two played on your new slide and visited with GiGi and Gi-Pa, and Grandmoo came over to join in on our little morning party. Afterwards, we loaded up the stroller and headed to Foster Park to swing. When we arrived, Mommy was surprised to see a band was playing. They were actually playing really good old rock music, so our park experience turned out to be even more enjoyable than expected.
You two played and played, and when you weren't playing, you were dancing your little hearts out. Mommy tried to video tape you two dancing with my cell phone, but my cell phone battery was too low :( Juders, you were wearing your mohawk hat, since it's the only hat with strings to tie... otherwise, you will not keep a hat on your head for anything! You looked like such a little sucker, a little chunk in your hat, and you were bobbing your head to the beat of the music. You had several other parents at the park cracking up, you were so darn cute. Bodhi, you were all professional-like, keeping beat and moving that booty and arms right along with the beat! After playing for a couple of hours, Mommy walked you both home. You both quickly fell asleep and Mommy was worried I wouldn't be able to get you two down for your afternoon nap. You both went down without a problem though, however, Juders, you only stayed asleep for about an hour and half :(
Buddha, you woke up with a runny nose. You didn't have a temperature, just a runny nose that would not quit. Bo, you got up after Mommy left to conduct an unannounced drop-in visit for work. Sean Franky came over and in between helping Daddy carry junk out of our basement, he made time to play with you both. He even helped get you guys situated for your dinner :) The rest of the evening was spent playing indoors. Juders you would not let Mommy out of your sight, and you wanted to be held at all times. It made for an exhausting evening for Momma. Bodhi, you continue to say words when asked... that is, when you are wanting something and are made to first say the word. It's so cute, you are so quiet and whisper with your little finger pointing to your lips, just like Ms. Connie does when she wants you to look at her mouth when she is saying a word hee/hee
You both, Daddy included, are fast asleep. Daddy is going to get up to do some work here in about 20 minutes, and Mommy has school work and picture projects to get done. Sweet Dreams Sweet Babes! xoxoxo
