Happy 1st Birthday Buddha!

You had a rough night last night, Buddha, and well, that means Mommy and Daddy had a rough night as well.  For some reason you were very uncomfortable and would not fall back asleep.  You woke at 1am and stayed awake and cried off and on for a good three hours!  Mommy tried everything.  You fell asleep for a while when Mommy patted your bum, but when I quit you woke back up :(  Mommy gave you a dose of Tylenol and a sippie cup with warm water, and that finally got you back to sleep.  However, 6am rolled around and it was rise and shine!  Good grief! 

GiGi came and got you two for a couple of hours so Mommy could things done.  I washed the kitchen windows, washed and ironed the curtains, etc... When you two returned, Mommy went and ordered your cake for your birthday party Saturday, JuJu!  You and your sister were both born on a Wednesday, but Mommy celebrated Bodhi's 1st birhtday two days after on Saturday, so Juder's that is why we are celebrating your birthday on Saturday, rather than today.  Mommy always makes sure that you both get the same equal celebrations, down to the last detail hee/hee  Mommy did decide to try a new bakery, and well, WOW... $100 dollars for two cakes!  Mommy justified it by saying it was for her birthday too hee/hee  Bodhi, your first cake was from Indulgence, a local bakery owned by a young lady.  Juders, your cake was ordered from J. Edwards, also a local bakery, but a young guy owns it.  I can't wait to see and taste your cakes! I am super excited to see how they turn out, and well for the price, I'll eat my piece reaaaal slow! 

Juders, you were out of control this morning.  You were the fussiest, crankiest, and neediest little Buddha!  You did not get enough sleep!  You were upset that Mommy received a phone call while feeding you lunch, and you would not stop screaming, despite Momma not missing a beat with shoveling food in your mouth.  When Momma ended the call, you spit a mouth full of baby fruit all in Mommy's face!  Stink Pot!  You then laughed.  Mommy quickly got you down for your nap.  Bodhi, you played outside with Grandmoo while Mommy put Jude down.  You were not a happy camper because of your brother, the Bodhi blocker.  He was definitely requiring everyone's attention.  When Mommy fed you your lunch, Bodhi, we had our normal lunch time conversation (Mommy's attempt to get you to say more than Momma, Da da da, and Bubba, or ball).  Mommy told you how much you were loved and then asked you, "do you love..."  I named everyone in our family, and each time you nodded your head YES.  When Mommy asked you, "Bodhi, do you love Momma?"  You spoke up loudly and firmly and said "No."  You broke my heart you little turd hee/hee  Mommy then went back through all the names, occassionally sneaking in a "Momma," and you didn't miss a beat, it was most definitely "NO."  Mommy hugged and loved on you despite your attempt to physically push me away :)- 

Bodhi, you woke up from your nap much later than your bro today.  You were smiling when your rough neck Bubba pushed open your door saying "Bo, Bo, Bo."  Of course, Mommy couldn't let it go, Mommy said, "Bubba and Mommy love Bodhi!"  You nodded your head and smiled.  Mommy then asked if you loved Momma again, this time, finally you said yes :)  It was a "I guess Momm," but I'll take it!  The rest of the day didn't deviate from this morning... it was all about Buddha, Bubba, JuJu, Puppy, Piggy Day!  Mommy is exhausted because of you Bubs.  You would look at Momma and scream horribly when Momma appeared to be leaving the room.  You had a super tight grip around Momma's neck most of the day too.  Mommy didn't mind, I love constant Bubba kisses and hugs.  Bodhi, you were definitely not amused.  A couple of times Mommy had to let Jude scream so that I could give you some special attention.  Bodhi, for the first time, you looked at Momma and said "Bubba, shhhhh," while putting your finger to your lip as to tell him to be quiet.  Mommy laughed and you kept doing it.  Bodhi, Momma's got news for ya, there were and are many days when you are no picnic too hee/hee  You Bubba are growing close though.  I'm pleasantly surprised each day, despite Buddha's neediness, you still are so loving and playful with him :) 

Daddy came home from work early this evening and took you both to the store to pick up some items for bubs birthday bash.  Mommy stayed behind and finished up on ironing and some other chores :(  Bo, you didn't eat much dinner tonight, but Bubba made up for it... he ate three dinners!  My little thunder thigh Buddha was happy after his three dinners, finally! However, by that time it was time for bed.  Buddha, you had a rough first birthday, but you spent it with Momma and Bodhi, and little time with Grandmoo, GiGi, Gi-Pa, and Daddy :) Mommy can't wait to see Grandma Betty and all your Aunties!  Great Papaw Grills decided he didn't want to appear to be showing favoritism by attending your birthday, since he couldn't attend Bodhi's, plus, he wants you two all to himself. So, Great Papaw Grills will be visiting next month :)  We received a birthday card in the mail from him today. :)

Happy 1st Birthday Buddha!  You are soooo loved!  xoxoxoxo  Mommy cannot believe how fast this past year has gone!  You are changing and growing daily, it just shocks both Daddy and I.
