A Walk in the Park

Well, Bodhi and Jude, let's just say the day had a rough start!  Mommy's not going to dwell on the fact that you two woke up at 6am and then only took an hour nap this afternoon.  Mommy decided we needed an outing.  So, we loaded up the stroller, grabbed Mr. Murff  (we left Mr. Arlo behind because of his paws and stubborness)  and headed for Foster Park.  Bodhi, you were so excited, Jude you just go with the flow.  Once we made it to the park, the first this year, Jude, the first in your lifetime, Mommy put Bodhi in a swing first.  Bodhi you could hardly contain yourself giggling the whole time.  Jude, you went next and you instantly looked relaxed and an old pro.  Bodhi, when you were done swinging you got down and started pushing your bubs.  You were so cute!  You also played in the muddy rocks and dirty snow, of course, and you loved every minute of it.  Bodhi, Mommy let you walk part of the way home.  Jude you just relaxed as Mommy pushed you in the stroller.  Bodhi you ran in the old ball park field playing with Mr. Murff and picking dirty things and snow up, all while giggling.  All Mommy had to say was, "Bye Bye," and you came a running.  You even pretended the stroller was chasing you at one point, you would run and get real close to the stroller and then laugh and run away.  Crippled Mr. Murff really enjoyed the long walk too.  Mr. Arlo wouldn't have made it so he didn't get to go today.  On our way home, we passed by Mommy's all time favorite tree, the Wildcat Creek, a reindeer statue that Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo use to growl at as pups... and you Bodhi, now laugh and point at every time we pass by, a neighborhood dog that runs off leash and pesters us all... which, Bodhi you find him hysterical and entertaining, lots of trash, Haynes, and the Seashore aka Peeshore aka Kokomo Beach.  These are the sights of your guys' childhood trips to the park.

Tonight, Bodhi you screamed a horrible scream when Mommy laid you down, but Mommy painstakingly left the room to let you try to cry it out.   You only cried for a few minutes before falling asleep.  Mommy went to check on you and you were sound asleep snuggled up with your monkey.  Mommy and Daddy think you are going experiencing some attachment issues. Jude, you also went right to sleep :)
