Split Shift

Bodhi and Jude, you spent the first half of the day with Mommy and the second half of the day (in the evening) with your Grandmoo.  Today, was our usual routine of playing, feeding, and changing diapers (over and over again).  Jude, it was snowing so hard all day long, and you noticed and spent some time watching it out Bodhi's window while she played.  You both went to Grandmoo's so Mommy could work on taxes and homework, and so that Daddy could work on his work.  Bodhi, you lasted two hours before having a complete melt-down.  You were crying and pointing at Grandmoo's water heater when it kicked on, anytime Grandmoo had to pick Jude up you would start crying, and you wouldn't eat for Grandmoo.  Mommy had to go over and try to get you to eat.  You eventually ate for both of us, but your mood didn't improve, you were tired.  Mommy, again,  had to return to bring you back home.  You wanted to go to bed at 6:30 p.m., well actually earlier than that, but you came home and went straight to bed at 6:30 p.m.  You did get up early this morning, but still!  Jude, you were great and acted great.  You did reach out for Mommy to pick you up when I was trying to get Bodhi to eat.  You lasted three and half hours before coming home and going to bed.  You looked exhausted!  Grandmoo had put her socks on both of your arms and legs to keep you warm when returning home.  You looked so funny :)

PS Happy Birthday Bodhi!  You are eighteen months old today, Mommy can hardly believe it.  I'm so proud of you!

Mommy snuck up on you after you woke from your nap Bodhi :)

Mommy and Daddy love seeing your happy face after naps!
