Another Day at the Park

What can Mommy say... I was refreshed after having a day to myself.  Plus, I had guilt feelings about enjoying my day so much, I wanted to make today extra special for the two of you.  After naps, Bodhi (YAY! You napped today!) Mommy got you both dressed and out the door.  Mommy took a new way to Foster Park to shake things up a little :)  We went down the big hill at the entry of the park, and though at the time I thought this was a good idea, about half way down (in a dead run) I realized this wasn't such a great idea after all.  We made it safely to the bottom though.  Bodhi, once at the park you laughed and pointed at all the dogs that passed by, and there were several.  Then after about an hour of playing on the play equipment, some teenagers showed up.  They were making out, grossing Mommy out big time, and you Bodhi stood there and stared at them ha/ha to the point that one of the couples told the couple that was making out.... "um, you guys there are kids here cut it out."  Mommy thought maybe she should shield you from this disgusting public display, but Mommy thought it was too funny watching you stare (standing in the middle of the park) with your most judgemental look on your face, not even flinching as I called your name.  Jude, after you are put in the stroller you have this serious look on your face like you are all business.  At home you happily screamed and squeaked big time, but you immediately change when you get in the stroller.  Mommy manages to get a smile out of you here and there, but I think you believe these park visits are more for your sister.  Bodhi, you again walked part of the way home, holding Mr. Murff's leash, running and playing with him.  I love to see you so happy and free.  In the house, I feel like we are all crowded and confined.

This evening Bodhi, you again (I think this is like the 3rd or 4th night in a row) made Mommy and Daddy hold and rock you until you fell asleep.   We began this process at your usual bedtime, 7:30 p.m., and right at 8:00 p.m. after holding and rocking you in our bed, Mommy gets in position to put you in your bed when the theme song to "Two and Half Men" comes on.  You (with your eyes closed) raise your arm in the air and start dancing it around.  Mommy and Daddy looked at each other and just about lost it with laughter, but we held it in.  Mommy then put you in your crib.  You woke up and cried, but Mommy told you that she loved you and to have sweet dreams and then closed your door.  You stopped crying and went to sleep shortly after.

 "Serious Buddha" ;)

"Momma, I think I'm going to fly over this swing set!"

 Sweet Baby Boy!

 Sweet Baby Bodhi!

"I would do anything for my sissy and Momma!"

"Whoa, Mr. Murff... I don't want to walk that fast!"

Neighborhood doggy that always gets Mr. Murff and Bodhi going!
