Playful Babes

Bodhi you appeared to really enjoy play time this morning with Momma.  You are playing much nicer than usual as well. Mommy could stack your measuring cups and you would add to them, rather than immediately knock them down.  Jude, you are getting the hang of eating.  You did much better eating your cereal this morning.  Mommy needs to go to the grocery to get you some baby food, since you can officially start eating stage 1 baby foods.  Jude, you also continue to love to watch Bodhi play.  You smile at her when she gets loud and crazy.  You watch Bodhi, and you try to rock yourself into participating and playing... but you become frustrated when you just end up just flopping.  You are very anxious to get up and go!  At lunch time Bodhi, Mommy started dancing your food over to you in your high chair (you use to think this was the funniest thing ever) but today you smirked and rolled your eyes.  Oh boy!  GiGi says there's more eye rolling to come!

Mommy, Bodhi, Jude, Mr. Murff, and Mr. Arlo all went on a walk again today.  First, we walked Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo to the recycle center to drop off our recyclables and then brought them back home, because they both are out of shape and have bad hips.  Bodhi, you laughed so hard and thought it was the funniest thing when Mr. Arlo stopped in the middle of Park Road with traffic flying from all directions.  Mommy had to lift and carry Mr. Arlo to the side of the road, you again thought this was soooo funny.  Mommy was so flustered trying to get everyone to safety.  Arlo had to be literally dragged back home, he refused to walk by putting his head down.  Every time, Mommy would say "Come On Arlo," Bodhi you just chuckled so loud!  After we dropped the boys off we went back out, because Bodhi, you insist on staying out until your Momma is frost bitten :)  After we returned home, Kelly and Governor stopped by to see you both.  Ok, lots of people have asked who is the Governor, and why do we call him the Governor... well, the Governor is sister Kelly's husband and we call him the Governor because every time he comes over he says in a British accent, "Hello, Baby Governor," and we all say "well, hello Governor."  Bodhi, you get a kick out of this and it's just kind a stuck.  We use to call him "Pokey," but Daddy and I never really questioned why people called him "Pokey," we just like to assume that it's because he's slow moving hee/hee.  Jude, you love all the attention when the Governor visits... Kelly is always focused tirelessly on Bodhi.  When you get bigger, she'll like you more hee/hee

Bodhi, tonight after your bath, you told Mommy that you were ready to go to bed...no, not by actually talking, but by shaking your head when Mommy asked.  However, you started pointing at your windows and screaming.  You ALWAYS go right to bed without any fussing, this freaked Mommy out somewhat.  Mommy still doesn't have an explanation as to why you were distressed by something connected to your windows, but I rocked you to sleep and so far (2 hours later) you are still asleep.  Jude, you also go right to bed.  Tonight, you demanded a longer feeding, but still no issues with you falling asleep.  You went to bed at 6:30 p.m., rather than your normal 7:30-8:30 p.m. bedtime.  Hopefully, you both are having sweet dreams! xoxoxox

Daddy on his break from work... he had to stop in to see you both!

 "Ornery Buddha" ;)

Jude and the Governor :) Jude, you love all the attention!

 "Angry Buddha"
Jude, as you can see from the slobber marks on Mommy's arm, you were wanting to nurse and weren't to happy when Mommy held you off!

Mommy forgot to take pictures on our walk, Jude Mommy had already taken you inside, but I did manage to snap this picture of you Bodhi.  You didn't want to go in yet.

 "Here I come!"

Bodhi, GiGi has got you in the bad habit of jumping into people's arms when they least expect it!  Here is the evidence.
